| ObjectiveThis dissertation aims to observe the application of adjunct acupuncture points after syndrome differentiation combined with the treatment of conventional rehabilitation for cerebral infarction patients,and to explore the clinical effect of adjunct acupuncture points combined with conventional rehabilitation in the treatment of motor aphasia caused by cerebral infarction after syndrome differentiation.Methods64 motor aphasia patients caused by cerebral infarction were selected for research from the Neurology Department of No.1 People’s Hospital of Xinxiang,Henan(with the diagnosis of this disease being identical with the Diagnostic Criteria Approved by the 4~thh Session of National Cerebrovascular Conference).The patients selected are aged between65-75,the onset time within a month.The designing scheme of random allocation and comparison was adopted for the study,and qualified samples were divided into control group and research group.1.Intervening Measures:On the basis of neurology conventional therapy(the same treatment scheme is selected according to the standard hospitalization procedure of clinical pathway of cerebral infarction),the control group was received conventional rehabilitation therapy,namely speech therapy,assignment therapy and acupuncture therapy,while the research group was received syndrome differentiation and obtained the treatment of adjunct acupuncture points combined with conventional rehabilitation.The personnel to conduct the treatment of syndrome differentiation and acupuncture for the patients are traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation doctors.After unified training,their acupuncture techniques are almost at the same level.The treatment was started on the second day after admission to the hospital,with acupuncture once a day,5 days a week,the treatment lasting for 5 weeks.About 2 minutes was kept each time for the acupoint of Yamen,15 minutes for the acupoint of Lianquan,and 30 minutes for the other points.2.Assessment Content:(1)The language function of the patients was assessed by applying the method of western aphasia batterry(WAB).Patients’Aphasia Quotient(AQ)was observed and four basic language functions including independent speech,understanding,retelling and naming were evaluated.(2)The method of Aphasia battery of Chinese(ABC)was used to observe the improvement of each sub-item in the scale.Language functions of the patients including oral expression,listening comprehension,reading and writing were evaluated.(3)The National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)was used to evaluate the neurological impairment of patients.Results1.Intra-group comparison:The scores within the research group and the control group obtained by WAB,ABC and NIHSS were compared before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison between the groups before treatment:With grouping randomly balanced before treatment,there was no statistical significance of the differences in general condition between the two groups and the scores of WAB,ABC and NIHSS before treatment.The baseline was stable and comparable(P>0.05).3.Comparison between groups after treatment:Compared with the patients of control group after treatment,the scores of WAB,ABC and NIHSS of the patients in the research group were significantly different in statistics(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Adjunct acupuncture points after syndrome differentiation combined with conventional rehabilitation therapy and simple conventional rehabilitation therapy can both effectively improve patients’motor aphasia caused by cerebral infarction.2.According to the syndrome differentiation situation of the patients,the method of well-directed acupuncture therapy combined with conventional rehabilitation therapy can promote the recovery of patients’language function,improve their communication ability and enhance the quality of their life.Its therapeutic effect is better than conventional rehabilitation therapy alone,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
