| Objective To evaluate the clinical curative effect on bronchial asthma at chronic persistent stage and their life quality by acupuncture and ginger moxibustion with Summer Treatment for the Winter Diseases.Methods According to inclusion criteria,72 bronchial asthma of chronic persistent patients who are selected from outpatient and wards of Xiamen City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),were divided randomly and equally into two groups.Except the shedding case,the final case is,34 cases in the control group which were treated by inhaling seretide,random time for 3 months;33 cases in the treatment group,which were treated by acupuncture and ginger moxibustion from 2017.06.21 to 2017.09.21,including canicular days,of which the acupoint selection includes Dazhui,Dingchuan(double),Gaohuang(double),Geshu(double),the ginger moxibustion acupoint selection base on the TCM theory of syndrome differentiation,for example syndrome of deficiency of lung qi and phlegm-blood stasis blocking,aided Feishu,syndrome of deficiency of spleen qi and phlegm-blood stasis blocking,aided Pishu,syndrome of deficiency of kidney qi and phlegm-blood stasis blocking,aided Shenshu,3 cones per point.Both acupuncture and ginger moxibustion were once every other day for 3 months.The patients' symptoms and signs,life quality and pulmonary function were respectively evaluated and observed before and at the end of the treatment,and the statistical software SPSS20.0 for windows was used to do a statistical analysis.Results 1.In terms of curative effectiveness:In the treatment group,6 cases were clinical control,13 cases were excellent,10 cases were improvement,and 4 cases were failure;In the control group,4 cases were clinical control,6 cases were excellent,16 cases were improvement,and 8 cases were failure.The total effective rate of the treatment group after treatment was 87.88%,the control group after treatment was 76.46%,the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).2.1n terms of analysis on symptoms and signs:?Compared with pretherapy,the clinical symptoms and signs after treatment in the two groups is more improvement(P<0.01);On the chest tightness and sputum,the degree of improvement in the treatment group is much better than the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05),while on the other symptoms there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),It proves that the treatment group is better than the control group on the chest tightness and sputum side.?Between the two groups,the treatment group is better than the control group in improving the clinical symptoms,the differences were highly significant(P<0.05).3.In terms of pulmonary function:the difference in FEV1/beforehand%and PEF of the two groups compared with the ones before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),which shows that the therapy of acupuncture and ginger moxibustion with Summer Treatment for the Winter Diseases can improve asthma pulmonary function,but the difference in FEV1 and PEF of the two groups compared with the ones after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which shows that the two groups equal to each other in pulmonary function improvement.4.In terms of AQLQ points:the integral score of both groups had been clearly improved in contrast to the ones before treatment,which the difference was obviously statistically significant(P<0.01),and the integral of the treatment group were higher than the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).It shows that the therapy of acupuncture and ginger moxibustion with Summer Treatment for the Winter Diseases can clearly improve asthma patients ' life quality.Conclusion The acupuncture and ginger moxibustion with Summer Treatment for the Winter Diseases had a significant curative effect on asthma patients at chronic persistent stage,and improve their pulmonary function and life quality,it was a efficiency therapy and had no side effect. |
