ObjectiveThis topic is based on the giant acupuncture theory in the classical acupuncture method.By observing the changes of knee joint pain, stiffness, daily activities,IL-1? and TNF-a in patients with acute KOA.To explore the clinical efficacy of" The Giant Acupuncture" in the treatment of patients with acute KOA.With a view to this study, lay the foundation for the clinical application of the suitable technology of the Chinese medicine.MethodsThis study follows the principle of control, randomization, and equalization.A total of 75 patients in the rehabilitation hospital attached to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomized in a ratio of 1:1:1 in the giant acupuncture group, the drug group, and the giant acupuncture method+drug group. In the group,25 cases were in each group. The giant acupuncture group was treated with giant acupuncture at Quchi acupoint and Chize acupoint. The drug group was treated with oral celecoxib capsules. The giant acupuncture method+drug group was treated with giant acupuncture method combined with drugs. The treatment time was 5 days.Outcome measures for efficacy evaluation were VAS,WOMAC score and serum levels of IL-1? and TNF-a were measured by chemiluminescence. The groups were evaluated before treatment and after treatment.Results1 Baseline comparisonBefore treatment, the age, sex, course of disease.height, weight, and BMI of the three groups were compared(P?0.05).The equilibrium among groups was comparable.During the study,3 patients were detached from the giant acupuncture group,2 were from the drug group,2 were from the giant acupuncture method and the drug group, and there was no significant difference in the number of shedding between the three groups(P>0.05).The results of the study showed that the VAS scores,WOMAC scores, serum cytokines IL-1? and TNF-a levels in the three groups before the intervention were not significantly different(P>0.05),and they were comparable.2 Symptoms and functionsAfter treatment, the three groups of WOMAC total score and sub-index of pain, stiffness, and daily life were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the giant acupuncture group and the drug group(P>0.05);In addition to the rigid index(P>0.05),the giant acupuncture+drug group was superior to the giant acupuncture group, the drug group(P>0.05).3 PainAfter treatment, the VAS scores of the three groups and the scores of pain items in the WOMAC score table were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);compared to the giant acupuncture group and the drug group;the giant acupuncture method and the drug group were associated with the giant acupunctures, respectively. The difference between the giant acupunctures group and the drug group was statistically significant(P<0.05).4 Serum IL-1?,TNF-?After treatment, the levels of serum IL-1? and TNF-a in the three groups were all reduced(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the T.Truncatula group and the drug group(P>0.05);the giant acupuncture method+the drug group Compared with the giant acupuncture group and the drug group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5 Clinical efficacy comparisonAfter 5 days of treatment, the giant acupuncture group:0 cases were cured,1 case was markedly effective,20 cases were effective,1 case was ineffective, and the total effective rate was 95.46%.In the drug group,0 cases were cured,0 cases were markedly effective,21 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective. The effective rate was 91.30%.The drug method+drug group:0 cases were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,17 cases were effective,0 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 100.00%.The difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6 Conclusion1."The Giant Acupuncture" and oral celecoxib capsule can relieve knee pain in patients with acute KOA,improve daily activity, and improve the symptoms and function of patients as a whole, and "The Giant Acupuncture" and celecoxib capsules alone When the effect is quite, the combined effect of the two is better than a single treatment.2."The Giant Acupuncture" and oral celecoxib capsules can reduce the levels of IL-1?and TNF-? in the serum of patients with acute KOA and improve inflammation, and the effect of "The Giant Acupuncture" and celecoxib capsules alone Quite the effect of the combination of the two is better than a single treatment.
