Objective:To compare the hyperextension brace fixation and percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)clinical efficacy in the treatment of simple thoracolumbar flexion compression fracture, analysis of the two different ways in the treatment for simple thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures, and two kinds of different treatment mode of their respective advantages and disadvantages and the corresponding indications.Methods:45 cases of thoracolumbar flexion in Department of spinal surgery,Suzhou City Hospital of TCM affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in December of December 2016-2017 compression fracture patients, including 24 cases with hyperextension brace fixation,21 cases by percutaneous kyphoplasty treatment.2 groups of patients with visual analogue scale(Visual analogue scales VAS)and Oswestry disability index score(Oswestry disability index ODI)recorded on the day of admission and before treatment, after treatment for 4 weeks,12 weeks,24 weeks,48 weeks,VAS scores of ODI index before and after the treatment by conventional X shooting measuring the concave anterior vertebral height and Cobb angle, using statistics with different groups of different treatment, the same treatment point index. Results:there was no significant difference between the external fixator and the external fixator in the group PKP before treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score between hyperextension and external fixator group at 24 weeks and 48 weeks after treatment, but there was a statistically significant difference between 4 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment(P<0.05).The VAS score of group PKP improved significantly at 4 weeks,12 weeks,24 weeks and 48 weeks after treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in 4 weeks,12 weeks,24 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).The VAS score index of hyperextension brace external fixation group was significantly higher than that of PKP group at 4 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment, but there was no significant difference between 24 groups after 24 weeks and 48 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).The results of the ODI score were in accordance with the VAS score.PKP group of responsibility vertebral height and the corresponding Cobb angle after treatment 4 weeks,12 weeks,24 weeks,48 weeks compared with before treatment with statistical difference(P<0.05);hyperextension brace fixation of anterior vertebral height and Cobb angle in 4 weeks after treatment,12 weeks,24 a week before treatment compared with no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:hyperextension external fixation brace and buckling type PKP in the treatment of thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures was 24-48 weeks in the improvement of symptoms after treatment, hyperextension brace had no obvious difference between external fixation VAS and ODI score index and PKP for comparison, and in 6 weeks after treatment-12 weeks and PKP treatment has the obvious difference different,in the early stage of treatment(6 weeks after treatment-12 weeks)PKP treatment is better than hyperextension brace fixation;hyperextension brace fixation for the treatment of flexion type thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture in the long-term curative effect significantly.
