ObjectiveExploring upper limb function effects of progressive practise Baduanjin's top four parts on modified radical postoperative breast cancer patients.MethodSelecting 64 modified radical postoperative breast cancer patients from the Breast surgery ward of Fujian Province Tumor Hospital. Those patients were randomly divided into control and experimental group of 32 cases. The control group received conventional treatment, care and rehabilitation exercise. The experimental group received the progressive pracise Baduanjin' s top four parts besides conventional treatment, care an rehabilitation exercise.Participants in experimental group according to herself circumstance to grasp the practice were required to take this training for 2 months, once a day, every time 30 minutes every morning after nine o 'clock.Researchers were trained progressive Baduanjin to standard could be allowed to teach those patients.During the intervention,we required our patients to fill in exercising journal including recorded every time practice time, wounds, drainage condition, presence of other reactions, patients on the achievement method easy, comfort and curative effect and arranged for visitors regular follow-up by the way of outpatient service,or telephone.Recording and analyzing upper limb function of shoulder joint activity, upper limb function, the pain, quality of life before and after 2 months in the two groups.Upper limb function of shoulder joint activity was evaluated by 360° protractor.Upper limb function, the pain, quality of life were tested with relevant scale. The final data was analysed by statistical software SPSS21.0.ResultUpper limb function of shoulder jointAfter intervention, there is statistically significant different between the two group on upper limb function of shoulder joint score(P<0.05).Shoulder joint flexion range score(t=2.412,P = 0.019),abduction rang score(t=2.520,P=0.015)and extension rang score(t=3.057,P = 0.003)have statistical difference.Upper limb functionAfter intervention, there is statistically significant different between the two group on DASH score(P<0.05),P value is 0.003.PainAfter intervention, there is statistically significant different between the two group on pain score(P<0.05),P value is 0.041.Quality of lifeAfter intervention, there is statistically significant different between the two group on FACT-B score of SWB,EWB,BCS,Total score(P<0.05),P values are 0.044,0.034,0.046,0.039.There is no satistal difference between the two group on FACT-B score of PWB and FWB score(P>0.05),P values are 0.232,0.153.The experimental group related FACT-B compared itself before and after experiment, there are statistical difference(P<0.05)The experiment group P values of PWB,SWB,EWB,FWB,BCS,Total score are 0.002,0.008,0.006,0.004,0.001,0.000.The control group related FACT-B compared itself before and after experiment, there are statistical difference of SWB,EWB,FWB,BCS,Total score(P<0.05)and no statistical difference(P>0.05)Of PWB score. The experiment group P values of SWB,EWB,BCS,Total score are 0.008,0.006,0.004,0.001,0.000.The experiment group P value of PWB is 0.076.ConclusionOur study suggest progressive practise Baduanjin' s top four parts play a positive role in modified radical postoperative breast cancer patients. It can improve its upper limb function of shoulder joint, improve its upper limb function, improve it quality of life, reduce its pain and so on.
