| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Modified Fangji Fuling Decoction Administrated by Hot Compress Combined with The Air Pressure Wave in the treatment of upper limb edema in postoperative breast cancer.Methods: A total of 72 patients with upper extremity edema in postoperative breast cancer were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was given routine treatment of air pressure wave,and the experimental group was given air pressure wave plus Modified Fangji Fuling Decoction.Before treatment and on the 1st,3rd,7th and 14 th days after treatment,the circumferential diameter at 10 cm above cubital crease of the affected upper limb was measured and quality of life scale,pain scale,Hamilton rating scale for depression(HRSD)were applicated to understand the quality of life and the condition of pain and emotion between the two groups of patients.Results: After treatment,the effective rate of upper extremity edema in experimental group was 85.29 %,and that in control group was 69.70%.The effective rate of experimental group was better than control group(P<0.05).The quality of life,the condition of pain and emotion were all improved in both groups.The experimental group was better than the control group in life quality and pain score,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).But the enmotion improvement were no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:1 Air pressure wave can reduce the circumference of affected upper limb and the degree of edema in postoperative breast cancer.Modified Fangji Fuling decoction hot compress application can enhance the air pressure wave on the therapy effect of affected side upper limb in postoperative breast cancer.2 Modified Fangji Fuling decoction administrated by hot compress combined with air pressure wave can reduce limb pain,reduce limb edema and improve life quality of the patients with upper limb lymphedema in postoperative breast cancer. |
