Clinical Study On Treatment Of Simple Obesity With Spleen And Kidney Yang Deficiency By Acupuncture And Thunder Fire Moxibustion

Purpose: In this study,we used the randomized controlled trial method to observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with thunder and fire moxibustion on the treatment of simple obesity in spleen and kidney yang deficiency,and to explore the difference between the curative effect and the conventional acupuncture method.We expect to provide new ideas and new methods for the clinical treatment of the disease.Method: According to the order of outpatient clinic patients,72 patients chosen by the standards were randomly grouped method,namely,30 cases treatment group and control group 30 cases.Treatment group used the method of acupuncture combined with thunder fire moxibustion treatment,while the control group was treated by routine acupuncture.The groups were treated 5 times a week,two weeks for a period of treatment and a total of four courses of treatment.Body mass index,waist circumference,hip circumference and waist-to-hip ratio change before and after treatment were observed.We used statistical analysis method to evaluate the data obtained.Result: After four courses of treatment,there were significant treatment effect for the treatment group and the control group.The total effective rate of treatment group was 90.3%,while the control was 86.7%.The statistic results showed that there was significant difference between the treatment group and control group after treatment(p < 0.05),the treatment group in improving patients with BMI and waist circumference exhibited an advantage compared to the control group(p < 0.05,p < 0.01),and the total curative effect was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: In this study,the results showed that the method of acupuncture combined with mine fire moxibustion was significant for improving the simple obesity of patients.This method improved waist circumference for the treatment of spleen and kidney yang deficiency type of simple obesity compared to routine acupuncture.The results provide a safe and operable method for clinic treatment of the spleen and kidney yang type of simple obesity.
