The Controlled Clinical Studies On Essential Hypertension Associated With Anxiety And Depression Treated By Shuangxin Decoction

Objective:To observe the clinical intervention efficacy of Shuangxin decoction on patients with Essential Hypertension associated with Anxiety and Depression.Methods:From Nantong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chengdong community clinic select 100 patients of Essential Hypertension associated with Anxiety and Depression who are aged from 45 to 75 years old.Randomly divided into two groups,Treatment group 50 cases and Control group 50 cases.Using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7(GAD-7)screening scale and Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)scale to assessed patients' anxiety and depression before and after treatment.The two groups are all given psychological intervention and basical anti Hypertension treatment,the Treatment group add Shuangxin decoction,and treatment for six weeks.Before and after treatment compare patients ' blood pressure value,GAD-7 scale and PHQ-9 scale scores,TCM syndrome integral,and clinical effectiveness of the two groups,using SPSS 17.0 data statistical to analysis.Results:On the improvements in blood pressure value,the total effective rate of the Treatment group is 88%,and the Control group is 70%,there is a significant statistical difference(p<0.05)in the two groups;the two groups anxiety and depression symptoms are improved significantly after treatment.The reduction of GAD-7 and PHQ-9 in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,there is a significant statistical difference(p<0.05)in both groups±showing that Shuangxin decoction has antidepressants and anti-anxiety effect.The Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes of two groups are obviously improved.The Treatment group total effective rate(78%)is better than that of the Control group(52%),compared two groups,there is a statistical difference(p<0.05).The general physical examination and laboratory examination(hematuria,feces and liver and kidney function)were not obvious in the two groups before and after treatment.Conclusion:Shuangxin decoction can effectively improve the blood pressure value of Essential Hypertension and the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome s.The curative effect is better than the western medicine for the treatment of hypertension,and can effectively relieve anxiety,depression and other psychological disorders.lt shows that Shuangxin Decoction has a good therapeutic effect on improving Essential Hypertension accompanied with anxiety and depression.It is worthy of further promotion in clinic.
