Objective:"Basic Nursing Technology" is the main course of nursing specialty in higher vocational education,aimed to cultivate students with solid professional knowledge,basic skills and strong ability of practice,but the current teaching mode in higher vocational colleges could not to get rid of the shackles of discipline curriculum.They still use the traditional teaching methods and students can not meet the demands of the nursing personnel in modem society.Project teaching model is a kind of successful teaching mode in vocational ability training since the reform of higher vocational education.It has received much recognition in the vocational education field.Therefore,through the research of project teaching mode in the aspects of theory and practice experience in Higher Vocational Nursing "Basic Nursing Technology" curriculum based on the occupational ability of the project teaching design and implementation,the project aims to explore the teaching mode applied in higher vocational nursing "Basic Nursing Technology" curriculum effect,feasibility the validation project teaching mode in higher vocational nursing teaching and the effectiveness,to provide reference and basis for teaching reform in higher vocational nursing courses.Methods:1 Through the related literature about project teaching as well as systematic research on books and materials,grasp the project teaching the essence,the characteristic,the principle and the implementation step.2 "Basic Nursing Technology" in higher vocational teaching,analyses the demand of the occupation ability to determine the occupation ability of the teaching goal,set the real and is simulated with the combination of teaching environment and forms teaching design to develop occupation ability based on the project course.3 Select two classes of nursing students in a vocational college,and randomly divide into the observation group and the control group.The control group is used the traditional teaching method of teaching theory course,the observation group is applied with teaching mode of occupation ability training based on project.At the end of the study,two groups of students were evaluated for their skills and their theoretical tests.The nursing college students' self-learning ability assessment scale,the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's critical thinking ability tendency questionnaire and the teaching effect questionnaire were investigated.Statistical data were processed by Excel2007 and SPSS21.0,using two independent samples t test analysis results.Test level a = 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant by P<0.05.Results:1 After the teaching,the students' skill and theory test scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(t=3.478 P<0.01,t=2.170 P<0.01).2 The self-learning ability of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The difference of self-management ability,cooperation ability,information ability score and the total score of self-learning ability of the observation group before and after the experiment was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(t=11.015 P<0.01?t=15.194 P<0.01?t=7.528 P<0.01?t=17.703P<0.01).3 The critical thinking ability of the students in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The comparison of the 7 dimensions and the total score difference between the two groups of students before and after the experiment.The analysis ability,systematization ability,cognitive maturity score and the difference of total score of the group were all higher than those before and after the experiment.In the control group,the difference was statistically significant(t=7.120 P<0.01?t=4.159 P<0.01?t=1.521 t=8.024P<0.01?t=7.406P<0.01).4 After project teaching,students in the observation group are greatly improved in the field of cognitive,emotional and spiritual movement,the observation group of project teaching students scored significantly higher than the control group to evaluate the traditional teaching method,the difference was statistically significant(t=15.722 P<0.01?t=13.020 P<0.01?t=8.525 P<0.01?t=14.071 P<0.01).Students in observation group were more inclined to project-based teaching model.Conclusion:The implementation of the teaching of basic nursing technology project has changed the traditional teaching mode,students study in the implementation of the project through the work scenario,enable students to improve the skill level and the corresponding theoretical knowledge,also improve the ability of autonomous learning and critical thinking ability,as well as stimulate students' interest and initiative in learning.Practice has proved that the project-based teaching design and implementation of basic nursing technology can improve students' vocational ability.
