Problems And Countermeasure Of Two Cancer Screening In Rural Women

The two major killers that threaten women's lives are cervical and breast cancer.It is reported that nearly 100,000 Chinese women are newly diagnosed with breast cancer each year,nearly 131,500 women were newly diagnosed with cervical cancer,and the morbidity is rising year by year.These two major cancers are serious threats to women's life and health.However,due to economic conditions,cognition and many other reasons,many rural women areunable to timely check and treat their illness.In order to improve the physical and mental health of rural women generally and rural women's attention to cervical cancer and breast cancer(hereinafter referred to as "two cancers"),the Ministry of Health and the Women's Federation jointly issued a paper in 2009 to begin the "two-cancer" screening of rural women in rural areas.Since the project is implemented,it has carried out "two cancers" inspections for millions of women and made some gratifying achievements.However,there are still many problems in the actual implementation.On the one hand,many rural women do not have enough recognition of this project and their participationpassion is low.On the other hand,the government still has problems in publicizing the effectiveness of rural women in their participation,rigorously implementing the process,and formulating relevant relief and compensation policies.This thesis is based on a case study of "Two Cancers" screening project of rural women in Subei Township of Jiangsu Province.I hope this thesis canprovide some recommendations for the project implementation in D Town of North Jiangsu Province,and provide suggestions for the implementation of the project in other areas.In this thesis,the information provided by Women's Federation and Health Center of D Town,North Jiangsu Province was consulted,and field investigation was conducted on the affected women in some villages and communities under the jurisdiction of the jurisdiction.Questionnaires on the related knowledge and problems of "two cancers" were also conducted a field interviews.Through deep involvement of rural women in the "two cancers" inspection,I get the first-hand information.Through analysis,I get independent opinions of "two cancer" screening project implementation process.I hope these opinions can help the government to improve and enhance the implementation of the effect Countermeasures.This paper concludes the basic characteristics and existing problems of implementing "two cancers" among rural women in D-suburb of northern Jiangsu Province.From the perspective of public management,we conclude that women themselves are weakly aware of their health status and their economic conditions are not allowed.The cause of this problem includes: lack of public awareness of government services,policy development is not comprehensive;lack of awareness of health care services institutions,the basic hardware infrastructure is notwell equipped,and so on.Finally,from the aspect of improving the awareness of women's health,we should actively participate in policy insurance,enhance propaganda,increase capital investment,raise aid ratio,improve medical environment,etc.The recommendations and countermeasures for screening are more realistic and practical,and can help resolve the issue of women's health in the area.
