Clinical Observation On The Wind-Cold-Dampness Type Of Knee Osteoarthritis With The Treatment Of Fire-Needle And Cupping

Purpose: The wind-cold-dampness type of knee osteoarthritis is the main object of study,to compare the therapeutic effects between fire-needle with cupping and conventional acupuncture treatment,intending to provide clinical evidence for treatment with similar syndromes of KOA patients in the future.Method: Divided the inclusion criteria of 69 cases of KOA patients into fire-needle with cupping group 35 cases,and conventional acupuncture group of 34 cases,which is in the way of random.Before and after treatment,the two groups of pain,stiffness,and functional effects were compared by the WOMAC scale and the JOA scale.The clinical efficacy differences between the two groups were evaluated by the SPSS 19.0 software.Result: From the statistical analysis results of WOMAC indices,pain,stiffness and functional degree of remission,the results of the two groups were significantly improved compared with the treatment at the start(P<0.05);fire-needle with cupping group compared with the control group improved significantly(P<0.05).From the statistical analysis results of JOA index,between the fire-needle with cupping group and conventional acupuncture group,efficiency had significant difference compared(P<0.05),93.33% and 86.67%.Conclusion: On the treatment of wind-cold-dampness type of KOA,fire-needle with cupping have better clinical effect than the conventional acupuncture,which can effectively relieve the patient's pain,stiffness and function.
