Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Natural Moxibustion For The Knee Osteoarthritis Due To Wind,Cold,Dampness And Obstruction

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the Knee Osteoarthritis due to wind,cold,dampness and obstruction by Natural Moxibustion.Methods:Firstly,according to the matched criteria,divide64patients by simple random into treatment group and control group with32cases in each group.The treatment group were treated with acupoint application using natural moxibustion treatment, in the first days of the Chu Fu, ZhongFu and MoFu,keeping four hours.Control group were treated with the drug of Glucosamine hydrochloride Capsules,0.75g each time, twice a day for six weeks for a course. Record clinical efficacy of the two sets of patients after treatment,and pain scores, symptom scores,visualization scale(WOMAC)score before and after treatment.Detect the content of TNF-α and MMP-3in synovial fluid before and after treatment.The data obtained are used SPSS16.0software analysis.Results:The results show that the two treatment methods are effective:①Clinical efficacy:The resul that the treatment group was89.74%and the control group was68.42%, can be thought that the two groups are different(P<0.05);②Symptom score:The two groups can improve the clinical symptoms;The treatment group is lower than the control group in the results of the clinical symptom score and Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index the visualization Scale(WOMAC)score,and the difference was significant(P<0.05);Before treatment,the two groups the symptom score there were no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,the two groups of the symptom score there were significant difference(P<0.05);③Detection indicators:Both groups can effectively reduce the MMP-3and TNF-α of synovial fluid (P<0.05),and the control group is better than treatment group;④Correlation analysis:Before treatment, two groups of patients with symptoms scores and synovial fluid of TNF-α, MMP-3content were positively correlated.Conclusion: Study found that:the natural moxibustion treatment is effective for the patients with the knee osteoarthritis due to wind,cold,dampness and obstruction.The natural moxibustion therapy can reduce the symptom score and the the MMP-3and TNF-α of synovial fluid. The natural moxibustion therapy is one of the effective methods for the patients with the knee osteoarthritis due to wind,cold,dampness and obstruction.
