| Objective:Study on the efficacy and safety of Banxia Qingtan Decoction's treatment of elderly Type 2 diabetic patients with community acquired pneumonia.Methods:Select 79 elderly patients with Type 2 diabetes complicated with community-acquired pneumonia in patients with phlegm dampness in the lung syndrome which accepted in Longyan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2015 to December 2016.These patients were randomly divided into simple randomized control group and the observation group.In the course of the study,9 cases were removed.Finally included 70 cases,34 cases of these were in the control group and 36 cases were in the treatment group.The control group received basic treatment(Oxygen inhalation,Spasmolysis,Antitussive and Dilute sputum,antibiotic treatment,and insulin),observation group were treated with basic treatment plus phlegm Banxia Qingtan Decoction.The treatment lasted 14 days.Observe the changes of the symptoms of fever,cough and phlegm,chest tightness,and other inflammatory indexes and clinical symptoms of PCT,CRP,WBC before and after treatment in two groups,then SPSS 20.0 software was used to analyze the data before and after treatment,and the occurrence of adverse events was recorded.Results:1.The total efficiency:After treatment,the total effective rate of treatment group was 91.67%,the total effective rate of control group was 73.53%,the clinical efficacy of the two groups showed significant differences after statistical analysis(P<0.05).2.Clinical symptoms:The scores of TCM syndromes were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups in improving the clinical symptoms of the patients(P<0.05).The recovery of body temperature in two groups of fever patients statistics,found that the treatment group of patients with body temperature recovery faster than the control group(P<0.05).Suggesting that the treatment group than the control group can improve the patient's fever,cough,sputum,chest tightness and other symptoms.3.Glucose level:After treatment,the two groups' postprandial 2h blood glucose treatment were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).But the treatment group compared with the control group was not statistically significant(P<0.05).Indicating that there was no significant difference in hypoglycemic effect between the two groups under the action of combined insulin.4.Inflammatory index:C-reactive protein,White blood cell and Procalcitonin of two groups of patients were different.The treatment group before treatment,the first 7 days of treatment,the first 14 days of treatment at two time points were statistically significant(P<0.05).The control group before treatment,the first 7 days of treatment,the first 14 days of treatment at two time points were statistically significant(P<0.05).Treatment Group were better than Control Group(P<0.05).Concretely speaking,the treatment group was better than the control group.5.Chest Imaging:On the first day and the seventh day,the lung CT of the two groups was analyzed,and found that both treatment methods have the effect of improving lung CT,but no significant difference between them(P>0.05).6.Antibiotic treatment duration:Comparison of the total number of days of application of antibiotics in both groups(P>0.05),no statistically significant.7.What's more,both of the two groups of patients had no obvious adverse reaction.Conclusion:1.Banxia Qingtan Decoction can reduce the elderly phlegm dampness deficiency type 2 diabetes mellitus with community-acquired pneumonia in patients with Procalcitonin,C-reactive protein,peripheral white blood cell count.2.Treatment of TCM Symptoms and Symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Combined with Community Acquired Pneumonia.3.In the intervention process did not appear adverse reactions and high security.It is worthy of promotion and application. |
