Research On Efficacy Of Pneumonia(Community Acquired Pneumonia With The Jiangqi Huatan Decoction)

ObjectivesTo observe the Jiangqi Huatan decoction combined western medicine treatment of CAP (phlegm-damp obstructing the lung type) with a simple western medicine, In the clinical symptoms and signs, WBC, CRP, PCT, chest X-ray examination and other aspects of the impact, and comprehensive analysis of the effects on the comparison of two treatments,so as to explore Jiangqi Huatan decoction clinical value and significance of the CAP.MethodsAccording to the order of treatment, the clinical 60 patients with CAP(phlegm-damp obstructing the lung type) were randomly divided into two groups. Using the Prospective, randomized, comparative clinical trial, they can be divided into the treatment group and control group, each group having 30 patients. The treatment group was given Western medicine treatment plus Jiangqi Huatan decoction treatment, while the control group only was used western medicine. We observed the clinical effects before and after the treatment in the clinical symptoms and signs, WBC, CRP, PCT,chest X-ray examination and other aspects for seven days. Objectively to evaluate the clinical treatment efficacy to comparison with the two groups.Result1. Comparing the total curative effect, the data results suggest that the treatment group is better than the control group. (P<0.05).2. The comparison of two groups on symptoms and signs before the treatment, P< 0.05, the results show that the two groups before the treatment have no statistical difference in symptoms and signs. Compared before and after the treatment effect, the difference of each group was obvious. (P< 0.05). These prompt that:compared with before treatment, the signs and symptoms of two groups had improved significantly, which due to adopt the appropriate treatment. After a period of treatment, Significant differences in patients’ control rate of cough and expectoration were observed in treatment as compared with observation groups (P<0.05); the symptoms of moist rale and shortness of breath had no statistical difference in each group(P>0.05).3.The treatment group’s antipyretic time is shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05).4. The treatment group could reduce the count of WBC, CRP and PCT after treatment better than the control group (P<0.05).5. The difference of chest X-ray in two groups compared before treatment was significant significant, the treatment group pulmonary effusion shadows had dissipated, P< 0.05. Contrasted the chest X-ray in the treatment group and control group after treatment, there was statistical significance too.ConclusionBy statistical analysis research, prompt treatment of severe community-acquired pneumonia (phlegm heat harmony lung type) is safe and effective, and can improve the clinical curative effect, relieve clinical symptoms, shorten the heating time, effectively remove bacteria, control infection, promote inflammation absorption, and may reduce the occurrence of adverse events, such as double infection, curative effect is superior to pure western medicine treatment.
