Clinical Observation Of Sangbaipi Jiajian Decoction The Treatment Of Adult Community-acquired Pneumonia Patients With Stagnation Of Phlegm-heat In The Lung Type

Objective:The aim of the study was to assess the clinical effect of Sangbaipi decoction Jiajian in the Treatment of adult Community-acquired Pneumonia (CAP) patients with Stagnation of phlegm-heat in the lung Type by the method of randomized controlled clinical trial design, which affected the changes of clinical symptom, sign, white blood cell count(WBC), neutrophil ratio(GR), Procalcitonin (PCT), C-reactive protein(CRP), absorption of Lung shadow in each group before and after treatment, and evaluate the clinical efficacy of Sangbaipi jiajian decoctionfor treatment of CAPpatients.Methods:In strict accordance with the inclusion and excledion standard, we selected 80 CAP patients,and divided them into treatment group and control group by using randomozed controlled clinical trial dedign method,40 cases in eache group.Among them,the patients of control group only take conventional therapy of the western medicine,such as anti-infective,expectorant.The patients of treatment of treatment group treaded with Sangbaipi decoctionJiajiand and western medicine.The period of treatment was 10days. After analyzed all the data by statistical software, observed the clinical symptom the clinical symptom and sign, the level of white blood cell count(WBC), neutrophil ratio(GR), Procalcitonin (PCT), C-reactive protein(CRP), absorption of Lung shadow of the groups of patients before and after treatment.Results:1. The overall effect of comparison:The total effective in the treatment group was 95%, and the total effective rate in the control group was 87.5%.After the rank sum test, the total difference between the two groups was statistically significant effect (P<0.05),and it shows that the overall effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.2.The main symptoms and signs integral comparison:After treatment, the main TCM syndromes compared with before treatment were improved (P<0.05). The treatment group was better than the control group in the treatment of cough, sputum volume, sputum quality, pulmonary rales aspects, with statistical significance (P<0.05); but there was no significant difference in the aspects of fever, chest pain in the treatment group and the control group after treatment (P> 0.05).3.Inflammatory markers:It was decreased that the WBC, GR, PCT, CRP in the treatment group and the control group compared with before treatment, and it was statistically significant (P<0.05); Comparison between the two groups after the treatment, WBC, GR, PCT, CRP decline more than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The results showed that the improvement of the level of WBC, GR, PCT, CRP in the the treatment group is better than the control group.4.Absorption of Lung shadow:After treatment,the absorption of lung shadow is better than before,and the treatment group is better than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion:Sangbaipi jiajian decoction combine conventional Western medicine can improve the clinical symptoms of Community-acquired Pneumonia patients with Stagnation of phlegm-heat in the lung type better, especially in the aspects of cough, sputum, pulmonary rales.and decrease the inflammatory markers levels of WBC, GR, CRP and PCT, etc. It is synergistic that on inflammatory aspects of antibiotic between Sangbaipi jiajian decoction and antibiotics, and it can reduce or even eliminate lung inflammation. It should be promoted in the clinical treatment of Community-acquired Pneumonia patients with Stagnation of phlegm-heat in the lung type.
