| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Maxingbaizi Decoction on phlegm-heat obstruction type of community acquired pneumonia and the influence of WBC,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin, and evaluate the clinical efficacy of self-made prescription. Methods:A total of 70 hospitalized cases of community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm-heat obstruction were selected from The Inpatient Department of Pulmonary Diseases,Jingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 10,2020 to August11,2021.Using random number table,35 cases were divided into treatment group and control group. Both groups received conventional anti-infection and symptomatic support treatment in Western medicine. The treatment group was treated with maxing Baizi Decoction plus oral treatment and observed for 7 days. The TCM syndrome score, white blood cell count,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin of the patients before and after treatment were observed, and statistically analyzed by statistical software.Results:1.Inflammatory indicators: Before treatment, there were no statistically significant differences in white blood cell count,C-reactive protein, procalcitonin and TCM syndrome scores between the two groups, showing comparability. After treatment,WBC count,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin in the two groups were decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the effect of WBC count and C-reactive protein in the treatment group was better than that in the observation group(P<0.05),and the decrease of PCT in the two groups was similar(P>0.05).2.Imaging score: the effective rate of the treatment group was93.94%,and that of the control group was 90.62%.The absorption of inflammatory lesions in the treatment group was due to the control group(P<0.05);3.TCM syndrome score: the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.94%,and that of the control group was 84.375%.The improvement of TCM syndrome score of the treatment group was due to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Maxingbaizi Decoction combined with Western medicine treatment can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of community-acquired pneumonia patients with phlegm-heat obstructing lung type, and the therapeutic effect is superior to conventional western medicine treatment alone;2.Maxingbaizi Decoction combined with Western medicine can effectively reduce the levels of WBC,CRP and PCT in patients with phlegm-heat obstructing lung type of community-acquired pneumonia, and promote the absorption of lung inflammatory lesions;3.Maxingbaizi Decoction combined with Western medicine has no obvious adverse reactions in the treatment of patients with phlegm-heat obstructing lung type of community-acquired pneumonia, and has good safety. |
