| Objective This research is to observe the Clinical effect of peishijianpiyichang decoction for Tumor markers CEA,quality of life,the clinical symptoms of TCM and side effects after chemotherapy of Postoperation of Colon Cancer which was type of pi xu shi sheng.To investigatethe efficacy and safety of peishijianpiyichang decoction,providing scientific experiment basis for the clinical widely used.Method There were 70 standard patients who were divided into two groups by randomized controlled methods,which is 35 cases of treatment group while 35 patients in the control group.Treatment group took peishijianpiyichang decoction with chemotherapy;control group used chemotherapy only.Chemotherapy in 21 days was one cycles for two groups,which is a total 3 cycles of chemotherapy.To evaluate the clinical effect by changes of CEA,clinical symptom of TCM,quality of life before-after treatment and the situation of bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy,gastrointestinal reaction conditions.Meanwhile,to assess safety of it by observing the ECG,function of liver and kidney,urine,stool routine case and adverse events occurred during experiments.Results The treatment group and the control group had 1 cases dropping off respectively.Therefore,68 patients were dealed with by statistics,Two groups had 34 cases respectively.Test results:1.CEA: CEA of two groups of patients were falling after treatment,but treatment group was fairly lower than control(P<0.05),which was statistical significance that showed peishijianpiyichang decoction could reduce the value of CEA of postoperation of Colon Cancer which was type of pi xu shi sheng and have certain prevent and cure function about it.2.Clinical symptoms of TCM:19 cases in the treatment group were markedly improved,13 cases were effective,total effective rate was 94.12%;10 cases in the control group were markedly improved,18 cases were effective,total effective rate was 82.35%,treatment group was more superior than control group(P<0.05)by comparing between two groups that explained peishijianpiyichang decoction could effectively relieve clinical symptoms of TCM of postoperation of Colon Cancer which was type of pi xu shi sheng.3.The quality of life:KPS scores were increased in the two groups after treatmen,but the treatment group increased more obviously(P<0.05),which was statistical significance that explainedpeishijianpiyichang decoction could effectively enhance the quality of life about Postoperative patients with colon cancer.4.Comparision of incidence of bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy: treatment group incidence and lever of bone marrow suppression of treatment group were obvious lower than control(P<0.05)by comparison of two groups,which was statistical significance that explained peishijianpiyichang decoction could effectively decrease the hematotoxicity of chemotherapeutic drug.5.Conditions of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy:treatment group incidence and lever of gastrointestinal reaction of treatment group were obvious lower than control(P<0.05)by comparison of two groups,which was statistical significance that explained peishijianpiyichang decoction could effectively reduce the gastrointestinal toxicity of chemotherapeutic drug.6.Safety index:ECG,functionl of liver and kidney,urine,stool routine case hadn't obvious difference between two groups after chemotherapy(P>0.05)that showed Peishijianpiyichang decoction was safe and non-toxic side effects.Conclution 1.Peishijianpiyichang decoction could reduce the values of serum CEA of postoperation of Colon Cancer which was type of pi xu shi sheng and had certain prevent and cure function about it.2.Peishijianpiyichang decoction could improve clinical symptoms of TCM and enhance the quality of life of postoperation of Colon Cancer which was type of pi xu shi sheng.3.Peishijianpiyichang decoction could reduce side effects of the chemotherapeutic agents non-side effects that was safe. |
