Clinical Study On Warming-unblocking Needling For Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy Of Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type

Objective: To observe the randomized controlled trial of warming-unblocking needling method on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR)of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type.And to evaluate its effectiveness and and superiority in immediate analgesic effect,reduced concomitant symptoms and improved quality of life with patient.Method: By the method of simple random,72 patients of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type CSR were divided into warming-unblocking needling method(WUNM)groups and mild reinforcing-reducing method(MRRM)groups.A WUNM group of 36 cases who were mainly acupunctured with WUNM at Tianzong(SI11),Fengchi(GB20),Dazhui(DU14),and combined with MRRM at other acupuncture points.A MRRM group of 36 cases selected acupuncture points at all the same with WUNM group,and acupunctured with MRRM at all the points.Two groups were treated every time for 30 min.The treatment frequency of 1 times a day,.The two groups were treated every time for 30 min,the treatment frequency of 1 times a day,5 times a week.10 times for a course of treatment,a total of 1 course of treatment.To evaluated the efficacy of treatment in before treatment,after first treatment and after the end of the treatment.Follow-up after a month at the end of the treatment.Results:1.VAS score: There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After first treatment and after the end of the treatment,the VAS scores significantly lower in both groups compared to before treatment(P<0.05).After first treatment and after the end of the treatment,the VAS scores of the WUNM group was significantly lower than that of the MRRM group(P<0.05).2.NPQ score: The Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire scores in both groups were significantly improved than those before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,The NPQ scores of the WUNM group was significantly improved than that of the MRRM group(P<0.05).3.The clinical efficative rate and recurrence rate: The clinical effective rate of WUNM group was 93.94%,and the WUNM group's was 85.29%.There was a significant difference in the clinical effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).Follow-up after a month at the end of the treatment,the recurrence rates between two groups were of significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.The WUNM treatment and MRRM treatment have the exact clinic effect on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type,but the clinic effect of the WUNM treatment is better than the commonly used MRRM treatment.2.In terms of the clinic effect of immediate analgesic,The WUNM treatment is better than MRRM treatment.
