Objective:Looking for the model and rules of cooperation and the level of scientific research,so as to provide the reference for stroke researchers to reasonably choose the partners and make strategic decision of biomedical science and technology for policy managers.Methods:1.Literature research2.Scientometric analysis3.Social network analysis4.Word frequency analysis Results:1.The scientometric indexes analysis of the scientific papers of the stroke in ChinaIn the stroke research field, the annual SCI papers are only non-SCI papers 1/4 at home, the growth rate of foreign SCI is higher than that of domestic SCI before 2010,after which the latter is larger than the former. From the perspective of the quality of SCI papers, the SCI papers of domestic stroke research are only 1/2 of that of foreign countries, and the number of cited papers is 1.5 times higher than that of foreign countries.More than half of domestic papers are cited more than 3 times, and more than half of foreign papers cited more than 8 times. From the cooperation point of view, both SCI papers and domestic non-SCI papers,co-institutional rate is less than the co-authored rate;institutional cooperation models are mainly 2-3 institutions and author cooperation model are increasing gradually over time.2.The network analysis of scientific papers on stroke in ChinaThere are 118114 and 49849 authors in non-SCI co-author network and SCI co-author network respectively on stroke in China. The average number of authors of two network are 1.232 and 3.492,and the clustering coefficient are 0.0089 and 0.019 severally. The whole cooperative network is sparse.19,845 organizations are involved in the non-SCI co-institutional network, with an average clustering coefficient of 0.003.The institutions cooperation is limited to schools and affiliated scientific research institutions in the same region, and the four cities are the most prominent.SCI papers involving 6615 institutions, the average clustering coefficient is 0.019,Taiwan and Harvard University have a deeper impact on domestic stroke development.Beijing-centered scattergram are formed in regional cooperation of non-SCI paper on domestic stroke study. The most intensive areas are the quadrilateral regions surrounded by Beijing,Sichuan,Guangdong, and Shanghai. There is little cooperation between the west, northwest and the eastern and central regions, and the cooperation between central and eastern, eastern and northeastern regions is more frequent. The research focus of domestic stroke research shows the transition from basic research to humanistic care, from cognition and treatment of stroke to rehabilitation and prognosis of patients.4.The network analysis of scientific papers on international stroke researchThere are 461,342 authors in the international stroke research network. The average number of authors is 2.77,network density is 0.207,and the average path length is 2.009.Hacke and Werner from Germany are at the core of the international stroke research. There are 1/2 authors of the top ten authors of mediation center degree from the United States. There are 52,259 scientific research institutions in the network of international stroke research. The total network density is 0.019,the average clustering coefficient is 0.0024,and the average path length is 3.422.The small world phenomenon are presented in international cooperation network with Harvard University and the University of Washington as the main connection point.196 countries are involved in the international stroke study, with a network density of 0.176,an average clustering coefficient of 0.173,and an average path length of 1.936.There are 149 subjects in the international stroke study, and neurosciences & neurology has more research on stroke than other disciplines, followed by cardiovascular system & cardiology.Conclusions:(1)The cooperation has become a common phenomenon and the inevitable trend on stroke research.(2)Wang Yongjun as the representative in domestic co-authors network and so dose Hacke Werner in international cooperation.(3)Domestic institutional cooperation is mostly concentrated in the same region, which located at the edge of international cooperation networks.(4)Regional cooperation are more close between eastern regions and Taiwan regions, less cooperation in the western and central and eastern regions.(5)International cooperation are more concentrated in the United States and Europe developed countries.(6)The focus of the study gradually shifted from cognitive and treatment of stroke to rehabilitation care and prognosis.(7)The neurosciences & neurology and cardiovascular system & cardiology disciplines play a crucial role in stroke research.
