The Academic Collaboration Network Analysis Of Cancer Research Field Based On Social Network Theory

The rapid development of modern science facilitates the specialization of various disciplines more shaper and the confluent trend of various disciplines more obvious.the scientific research also becomes more and more complex and difficult,which makes scientists more hardly to obtain high quality research results.In order to obtains more scientific breakthroughs,it's necessary and inevitable for them to seek academic collaboration,it's also for the cancer research field which attracted all worlds' attention,cancer is the current unconquered problem still,it's breakthrough and development is directly related to the life and health of patients with cancer in the world,it also indirectly affect the national economy and the public health system,which makes the research on collaboration network in the field of cancer is full of value and significance.Under this background,this paper takes the global cancer research field of Essential Science Indicators(ESI)papers as the research object,based on the social network theory to study the country collaboration network,institution collaboration network and author collaboration network,and also based on text mining to analysis it's research hotspot and front.The study found that the connections among these countries and institutions was not closely in global study of cancer research,which also reveal a more obvious imbalance among countries.Developed countries in Europe and America are closely related to each other on this research field,which also have big academic influence than other countries and played the intermediation roles duing to their core position in the collaboration network.The Asian and Australian countries represented by China and Australia also have excellent performances,but the African continent countries' was terrible,the research result of the institution collaboration network is clearly consistent with the country collaboration network.The author collaboration network in global cancer research field has a obvious small world and scale free feature,the connection among these authors is closely,the co-author network consists of90 different size groups.Aimed at the shortcomings of the identification of network structure key nodes indexes' application in collaboration network,this paper constructed a new method to identify key nodes in collaboration network through TOPSIS theory of multiple attribute decision making,we found that some authors like Getz,Gad and Chin,Lynda have significant influence in this field,and they play an important role in the academic information exchange.This study excavated that the research hotspot in cancer research field includes cancer metastasis,and the applicationof nanotechnology in cancer et.al,based on the theory of keywords co-occurrence.For the research frontiers of cancer research field,this paper studies explored it's important areas of Frontier clustering based on the new perspective of Sigma,the future research hotspots of lung cancer,melanoma,programmed death1 and antitumor immunity were analyzed.
