| Objective:Chronic systemic inflammation reaction is obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)an important pathological mechanism,this paper aims to explore the correlation between OSAHS and serum inflammatory markers-platelet / lymphocyte ratio(PLR),and the association of platelet activity parameters such as platelet distribution width(PDW),mean platelet volume(MPV)and OSAHS.Material and Methods:This is a retrospective cohort study.A total of 168 patients who had undergone polysomnography in our respiratory sleep center,clinical suspicion of OSAHS,between January 2012 and June 2016 were evaluated,among them,33 cases were female and 135 were male,and collect all the candidates’ blood routine.The participants were divided into four groups according to apnea hypopnea index(AHI): normal group(AHI < 5/h,29 cases),mild OSAHS group(5 ≤ AHI < 15/ h,41 cases),moderate OSAHS group(15 ≤ AHI <30/h,44 cases),severe OSAHS group(AHI ≥ 30/h,54 cases).PSG and blood routine parameters(Platelets,lymphocytes,PDW and MPV)were collected and analyzed statistically.Results:Moderate(116.06 ± 46.17)and severe(122.92 ± 12.48)PLR higher than the normal group(86.05 ± 13.08),mild(91.24 ± 20.00)group,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant;mild and normal group,severe and moderate group,P > 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant;and PLR and AHI there was a positive correlation between.MPV analysis results: mild(6.91 ± 0.23),moderate(10.62 ± 1.46)and severe(10.82 ± 1.43)MPV group is higher than the normal group(6.01 ± 1.08),moderate and severe group was higher than mild group,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant;moderate and severe group,P > 0.05,no statistical difference significance;and MPV and AHI were positively correlated.PDW analysis results: mild(15.38 ± 2.34),moderate(15.67 ± 2.67)and severe(17.93 ± 1.02)was higher than the normal group(13.61 ± 2.65)group,severe group was higher than that of mild and moderate group,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant;there was no significant difference between mild and moderate group,P > 0.05 and PDW and AHI were positively correlated.Conclusions:PLR,PDW and MPV were closely related to the severity of OSAHS.With the increase of AHI,the ratio of PLR,MPV and PDW increased,and PLR,MPV and PDW were positively correlated with AHI.PLR is expected to become a new biological marker to evaluate the severity of OSAHS,which can be used to assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of clinical OSAHS. |
