The Treatment Of Osteoarthritis With Autologous Micro-fragmented Adipose Tissue

Objective: To know the therapeutic effect of autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue in the treatment of KOA by comparing the curative effect of joint injection with autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue to sodium hyaluronate joint injection.Methods: 57 subjects who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.The KOA were treated with autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue injection and sodium hyaluronate injection seperatly.Record the observational index before treatment,after treatment for 1 weeks,1 months,3 months and 6 months,then analyze the data by statistical methods and draw conclusions.Results: There were significant differences in KOOS scores of two groups to compare with the previous until 3 months after treatment;compare the KOOS scores of 6 months after treatment to 3 months,utologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue group still had significant differences but sodium hyaluronate group didn't.Compare with the previous VAS score in sodium hyaluronate group,there were significant differences in 1 week and 1 month after treatment(P<0.05),and the mean value were smaller than the former;there were significant differences in 3 and 6 months after treatment(P<0.05),but the mean value were bigger than the former.In autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue group there were no significant differences only in comparison of 3 months and 6 months after treatment.In comparison of the two treatment methods,after 1 weeks of treatment,the two groups had no significant difference in KOOS score(P > 0.05),and had significant difference in VAS score(P < 0.05).After 1 month of treatment,the two groups had significant difference in KOOS score(P < 0.05),and had no significant difference in VAS score(P>0.05).After 3 months and 6 months of treatment,the two groups had significant difference both in KOOS score and VAS scores(P<0.05).After 6 months,the choiceness HSS rate in autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue group was 81.5%,higher than sodium hyaluronate group of 73.3%.Conclusion: Compared with sodium hyaluronate group,although the effect of autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue for relieving knee joint pain is slow,but long duration and obvious;and for improving knee function effect is more significant.
