Study On The Effect Of Xiaozhongdintong Paste In Treating Patients With Acute Ankle Sprain

Background: Chinese medicine in the treatment of acute ankle sprain there is an advantage,by the majority of scholars of concern and favor.Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of the hospital preparation(Approval number: Gan medicine word Z04010874)with swelling and pain,blood circulation,the effect is significant,the advantages of prominent.However,due to the existence of large amounts,the use of inconvenient,easy to paste after cleaning and easy to contaminate clothing and other issues,limiting its potential to promote the grassroots.In order to improve the inconvenience caused by the application of digestion cream in the clinical application,the digestion cream will be improved into Chinese medicine paste(xiaozhongdintong paste).Objective: Will be applied to the clinical treatment of acute ankle sprain,by comparing with the original formula to eliminate cream,to observe the digestion cream and swelling and pain paste treatment of acute ankle sprain clinical efficacy,evaluation of swelling The effectiveness and safety of the paste,and thus better guide the clinical application and to the province's grassroots level,reduce medical expenses.Methods: In the Department of Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,emergency department,in August 2015 to 2016 in May were collected 70 cases of acute ankle sprain patients,were unilateral ankle sprain,of which 15 cases of valgus sprain,varus 55 cases,22 females,48 males,the average age of the treatment group 28.82±10.94 years old,the control group 29.51±11.71 years old.According to the order of the first diagnosis were randomly divided into two groups,namely,the control group and the treatment group,the 35 cases were used to eliminate cream and swelling of the pain paste topical treatment.The course of treatment was 12 days and follow-up at the end of the first month after treatment.The swelling,pain,joint activity and the soft tissue before and after treatment on the day after the first screening,the 6th day after treatment,the 12 th day after treatment and the first four months after the first follow-up visit Color Doppler ultrasound and other observation indicators to score records,statistical analysis of the two groups of clinical efficacy.Results: There were no significant differences in age,sex,sprain and soft tissue color Doppler ultrasonography before treatment.After 1 month follow-up,the effective rate was85.7% in the treatment group and 91.4% in the control group,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the treatment group according to the evaluation criteria of the clinical research guidelines of traditional Chinese medicine new medicine.There was no significant difference in swelling,pain(VAS),joint activity(ROM)and soft tissue color Doppler scale between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment of acute ankle sprain was not inferior to Eliminate cream.Treatment group in the treatment of a mild skin allergic reaction,did not do any treatment,2 days after self-mitigation,the two groups were not blisters,itching and rash and other side effects.Conclusions: Its improved Chinese herbal medicine paste(xiaozhongdintong paste)in the treatment of acute ankle sprain have a good clinical efficacy,can significantly alleviate the ankle joint swelling and pain,promote functional recovery,optimize the healing process.At the same time,the swelling and pain paste with a drug and the matrix easy to mix,drug loading,transdermal good,easy to paste and no stimulation of the skin,etc.,can make up for the amount of elimination cream,the use of inconvenient,Cleaning and easy to contaminated clothing and other deficiencies,after all,a reasonable,simple and efficient means of treatment,with greater social value,suitable for the province to promote the grassroots level.
