Clinical Observation To The Lumbar Disc Herniation (Cold-damp Syndrome) Treated By Shenzhuo Decoction

Purpose:Through clinical randomized controlled trials,observe the clinical curative effect of Shenzhuo Decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(cold-damp syndrome).Method:In the second spinal clinic of Wangjing Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences from March 2016 to February 2017,60 cases diagnosed lumbar disc herniation(cold-damp syndrome)were picked out and divided into two groups in accordance with the table of random number.There are 30 cases in each group.The test group were treated with Shenzhuo Decoction,and the control group adopted the Fengshigutong capsule treatment.The treatment period was 2 weeks.The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS score),Japanese Orthopedic Association(back pain)Scores(JOA score),pain threshold and classification and TCM syndrome score were observed to evaluate the curative effect before and after treatment.Result:1 baseline comparisonThere were no statistical differences(P>0.05)between the test group and the control group in gender,age,disease duration and VAS score,JOA score,pain threshold and classification and TCM syndrome score before treatment.The two groups were comparable.2 the comparison between the pre-treatment and post-treatment in two groups of patientsCompared with the pre-treatment,two groups were statistically significant(P=0.000<0.01)in VAS score,JOA score,pain threshold and classification and TCM syndrome scores after 1 week,2 weeks of treatment and follow-up.In the two groups after treatment,the VAS score,TCM syndrome score decreased significantly,the JOA score,pain threshold increased apparently and the pain threshold classification was significantly better than that in the pre-treatment.3 the comparison between the two groups of patients after treatmentAfter 1 weeks of treatment,VAS score in the test group did not decrease more obviously than the control group,which has no significant difference(P=0.333>0.05);at the remaining observing points of treatment,VAS score decreased significantly,with significant difference(P<0.05).After 1 weeks,2 weeks of treatment and follow-up between the two groups,JOA score of the test group was higher than the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).Except 1 weeks after the treatment(P=0.167>0.05),at the remaining observing points of treatment between the two groups,pain threshold of the test group increased significantly compared with the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The comparison of pain threshold classifications between the two groups had significant difference(P<0.05 or P<0.01)after the treatment.After the treatment,the falling of TCM syndrome score in the test group is not obvious compared with the control group,with no significant difference(P>0.05).4 the comparison of the overall curative effect between the two groups of patientsAfter 2 weeks of treatment,the markedly effective rate and total effective rate of the test group and control group were 50.00%,86.67%and 23.33%,66.67%,with significant difference(P=0.013<0.05);at 1 month follow-up after treatment,the markedly effective rate and total effective rate were 36.67%,80.00%and 16.67%,56.67%,with significant difference(P=0.024<0.05).5 adverse reactionsDuring the treatment,there were no adverse reactions in the test group and the control group.Conclusion:Shenzhuo Decoction has a better clinical effect in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(cold-damp syndrome);compared with Fengshigutong capsule,Shenzhuo Decoction can significantly reduce VAS score,increase the pain threshold,improve pain threshold classification and relieve pain;it can increase the JOA score and improve the back pain;its overall curative effect is better than that of Fengshigutong capsule;there are no adverse reactions in the Shenzhuo Decoction treatment,and Shenzhuo Decoction is effective,worthy of further clinical research.
