The Clinical Curative Effect Study Of Percutaneous Kyphoplasty And Weibixiao Decoction In The Treatment Of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture

Objective : To observe and study the percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with Weibixiao decoction in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,by evaluating the curative effect of the control group and the observation group,interpreted the percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with Weibixiao Decoction in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression created the curative effect of advantage over just percutaneous kyphoplasty.Methods: A total of 60 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression,which treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from March 2015 to March 2016,applied with the prospective study,the patients were randomly divided into two groups: observation group and control group.Each group had 30 cases.The control group was merely treated with percutaneous kyphoplasty.The treatment of the observation group utilized Weibixiao Decoction after the treatment of percutaneous kyphoplasty,medication for 1 months.Evaluated the curative effect three including the VAS score,Oswestry functional index and clinical effect assessment.Results:(1)There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,fracture segments and other baseline data(p>0.05).The data were comparable.(2)Before treatment,There was no significant difference between the two groups in the VAS score and the Oswestry function index(p > 0.05),These data of the two groups were comparable.(3)The comparison of VAS scores:The VAS scores of the two groups were significantly decreased after the operation.The difference was statistically significant before and after operation(p<0.05).The difference was not statistically significant 2 days after treatment(p < 0.05).The VAS scores of observation group was Significantly reduced in the 1 month after treatment.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The results showed that short-term of percutaneous kyphoplasty Operation was effective after 2 days of treatment.The observation group was better than the control group after 1 months of treatment.The pain of the observation group was significantly relieved and more ideal after 3 months of treatment.(4)The comparison of Oswestry function index:The Oswestry function index of the two groups were obviously reduced after the PKP surgery.The difference was statistically significant between preoperative and postoperative(p<0.05).Two days after treatment,the difference between two groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05).One month after treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05).Three months after treatment,The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The conclusion is that the functional activities of the two groups were obviously improved.The functional recovery of the observation group was better than that of the control group after three months of treatment.The total clinical response rate of the observation group was 96.67 percent.The control group was 90.00 percent.The difference of the total clinic effective rate was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:The percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with Weibixiao Decoction in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures was better than applied with percutaneous kyphoplasty only.The analgesic effect was better when combined with Weibixiao Decoction and can promote the recovery of lumbar function.This treatment method was worthy to be popularized in the clinical treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.
