Objective: Use adjusted Quanchong Fang combined with narrow-band ultraviolet B to treat Prurigo Nodularis.Observing its clinical effect, adverse reaction and relapse rate.Analysis the advantages of combined therapy to treat the Prurigo Nodularis, and provide a safe and effective method to treat the Prurigo Nodularis. Methods: 78 cases of prurigo nodularis patients conformed to the research condition were randomly divided into 3 groups named Group A,B,C,including 26 cases of Group A,26 cases of Group B and 26 cases of Group C.There were no significant difference in basic data which including the gender, age, course of disease, skin lesions and itch degree before treatment(P>0.05)in the three groups.Group A received oral medicine decoction of adjusted Quanchong Fang,Group B were treated with NB-UVB irradiation,Group C were treated with group A and group B.All patients of three groups were giving Ebastine, and the skin lesions was applied with paeonol which can relieve itching caused by Prurigo nodules.Three groups were treated for 12 weeks,follow-up visits once every 4 weeks,to observe and record the patient's lesions and itching changes before the patients accept this treatment and after 4 ?8 and 12 weeks treatment. And to observe whether there are adverse reactions,as well as the recrudescence condition after 2 months of treatment.Results:(1)The three groups had no difference in statistics compared with the two factors about the total score of skin lesions and itch degree before the treatment(P>0.05),but they are all statistically significant after treatment compared with before(P<0.05).(2)The three groups had difference in statistics between the Group A?Group B and Group C of patients after 4 weeks treatment in Skin lesion score(P<0.05),Group C was better than Group A and Group B,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in Group A and Group B;after the 8 and 12 weeks the treatment finished,The three groups including Group A?B and C had clear difference in statistics about lesions score factors(P<0.05),and Group C<Group A<Group B.(3)The clinical effect were statistically significant of three groups of patients after the treatmentof 4 weeks(P < 0.05),Group C had the best clinical therapeutic effect than Group A and B,while the two Groups A and B had no difference in the Statistics ways;after 8 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment, the clinical therapeutic effect had significant difference of the three groups(P<0.05),Group C>Group A>Group B.(4)The three groups had clear differences in the changes of itching syndrome after treatment of 4 weeks(P < 0.05),Group C was better than Group A and B,while the two Groups A and B had no difference in the Statistics ways;the itching degree of three groups had statistical difference after treatment of 8 weeks and 12 weeks(p<0.05),Group C had the best improvement in itching degree than Group A and B,and Group A was better than Group B in the Statistics ways.(5)After treatment of this research finished, the three Groups A?B and C had no difference in statistics ways about the adverse effect factors(P>0.05).(6)The recurrence rate compared between the three groups were proved different in statistical method after the follow-up of 2 months, and the recurrence rate of Group C was less than Group A and Group B.Conclusion: The adjusted Quanchong Fang decoction combined with narrow-band ultraviolet B to treat Prurigo Nodularis had a positive curative effect, and the recurrence rate is relatively low, which is a safe and effective method for treatment of prurigo nodularis.
