Clinical Study Of Tonifying Kidney,removing Dampness And Invigorating Blood Therapy On Renal Anemia In Stages 3-5 Chronic Kidney Disease

Objective:To evaluate the effect of tonifying kidney,removing dampness and invigorating blood therapy on Renal Anemia(RA).To increase the awareness of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)theory on RA and improve the diagnosis and treatment in TCM.Method:All 100 cases RA patients collected from Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM nephrology department since March 2015 to December 2017 for treatment,divide into treatment group and control group,50 cases each.Treatment group patients received general treatment plus TCM 'tonifying kidney,removing dampness and invigorating blood therapy',one dose a day,tired times after meals;50 cases in the control group to Iron Polysaccharide Complex Capsules 0.3g/d,and Folic Acid Tablets 15mg/d.One month as a course of treatment,after two courses,we compared the clinical efficacy of the two groups by TCM syndrome,blood routine,renal function and safety indicaters.Results:Comparison of TCM syndromes:Both treatment group and the control group were effective,the total efficiency of 76%and 42%respectively,by Wilcoxon rank sum test,treatment group was better than the control group in the overall efficacy,there are a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).TCM syndromes include tired,soreness and weakness in low back and knees,pale and sallow complexion,edema,anorexia,nausea vomiting,body numb and other symptoms have been alleviated in both two groups.In the treatment group,some symptoms such as tired,soreness and weakness in low back and knees,edema and dyschesia improved better.Western medicine symptoms curative effect comparison:After two courses,blood routine and renal function improved in both groups.Compared with the control group,blood index(Hb,Hct),kedney function(Scr,Ccr)improved significantly in treatment group,and there was a statistically significant difference.The total efficiency the treatment group and the control group was 50%and 38%respectively.But there was no significant difference after Wilcoxon rank sum test.Conclusion:Tonifying kidney,removing dampness and invigorating blood therapy can improve the clinical symptoms of RA.The method nourished the kidney first,while invigorated the spleen and harmonized the stomach,at the same time,it activated blood and removed turbidity.So it improved terms of syndromes,including tired,soreness and weakness in low back and knees,edema,anorexia,and dyschesia,increased the quality of life.It also improving hemoglobin concentration and delay the progression of chronic renal disease,indicating ttonifying kidney,removing dampness and invigorating blood therapy treated RA exactly.
