Clinical Observations On The Therapeutic Effect Of Kidney-Tonifying,Blood-Circulating,Dampness-Removing And Menstruation-Regulating Treatment Method For PCOS Infertile Women With Deficient Kidney Cum Stagnant Dampness Pattern

PurposeObserving the effect of “tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment” toward infertility of kidney deficiency phlegm stasis type of PCOS.Including observations of symptoms during periods,improvements,ovulation,the changes of endometria during ovulation and pregnancy rate.To find a standard operation of tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment for clinical use in treating PCOS.MethodsThis research was done by reviewing 60 cases of kidney deficiency phlegm stasis type of PCOS.I separated these cases into two groups,each group had 30 cases.One group only used Chinese medicine “tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment”,and the other group used the combination of Chinese medicine with Letrozole and estradiol valerate.I observed these two groups before and after the treatment,including the condition of period(period cycle,amount,texture),symptoms during period(pain,swelling of breast,low back sore),dominant follicle rate,ovulation rate,the changes of endometria during ovulation and pregnancy rate,to evaluate the clinical effect of tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment’s clinic effect on kidney deficiency phlegm stasis type of PCOS.Results(1)Both groups had significant effect on kidney deficiency phlegm stasis PCOS.P>0.05,there was no statistical difference,the overall effects were equivalent.(2)Both groups helped improving the period situation(period cycle,amount,color,texture),local symptoms(pain,breast discomfort,low back ache),whole body symptoms(feeble,vertigo and tinnitus)and the condition of tongue and pause.P<0.05,there was statistical difference,which showed that tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment had a significant effect in treating kidney deficiency type of PCOS infertility.(3)Both groups helped the produce and release of follicles,P<0.05,there was statistical difference,and the group used both Chinese medicine and Western medicine had better performance.(4)Both groups helped the endometria to grow thicker during ovulation.P>0.05,there was no statistical difference,and the clinic curative effect was equivalent.(5)There were 14 cases of pregnancy by using both Chinese and Western medicine,and the curative ratio was 46.67%.There were 8 cases of pregnancy by using Chinese medicine only,and the curative ratio was 26.67%.Fisher accurate inspection P=0.180,P> 0.05,there was no statistical difference.It showed that the effect of combination of Chinese medicine and west medicine group was equal curative ratio to the effect of Chinese medicine only group.(6)During the treatment,there was not adverse reaction nor significant side effect found.Therefore this treatment plan was safe.Chinese medicine had no significant side effect and could treat whole body symptoms,and can co-work with western medicine.This showed that tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment was another option for kidney deficiency phlegm stasis type of PCOS.ConclusionTonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment could help ease TCM symptoms,quality of ovulation,helped the changes of endometria during ovulation.Tonifying kidney,promoting blood circulation and dissolve phlegm cycle regulation treatment with Letrozole and estradiol valerate could help improve pregnancy rate.It had high curative effect without significant side effect,showing good clinical curative effect on kidney deficiency phlegm stasis type of PCOS.
