Research On The Public Health Care Services For The Tianjin Elderly Mental Disorders Patients

With the rapid economic development,the ever-accelerating pace of social life,increasing pressure from all sides,incidence of mental illness is keeping rising.However,the pace of development of our mental health service system and establishment has not kept pace with the surge in the number of patients of speed.China is relatively backward mental health services;lack of medical resources,the number of professional health care workers and mental disorders service resources per capita is lower than the world average standard.With the increasingly serious problem of aging in China,the increasing social pressure,normal people’s pension problem has to the society brought great pressure,large inputs of resources are likely to far can not meet the needs of the rapidly growing population,not to mention the high-risk population is too busy to take into account.Limit by the level of economic constraints and the shortage of available medical resources and other factors,many psychiatric patients can not accept the system of conditional treatment,rehabilitation and no support system to help complete the follow-up treatment which lead to disease progression,combined with aging they often suffer other organic diseases,making their lives miserable.Since the social pension agency does not receive psychiatric patients,even if the receiver does not take care of health care professionals,in the beginning of the disease they can only rely on specialist mental hospital model to treatment,as a temporary retirement place.Specialist mental hospital and long-term development lag,lack of professional talent and medical resources,they can not afford the rapidly expanding elderly mental disorders pension service needs.Therefore,to establish a long-term pension system standardized mental health services is imminent.This research based on the above background,the application of case analysis method,interview method,by a few months the actual visits,and literature review and research on Tianjin survey data.In view of the present service situation of Tianjin city elderly patients with mental disorders and the allocation of public health resources do the analysis and research,found in actual service existed problems such as lack of service failure,service dislocation,social participation.Combined with advanced foreign experience,according to the effective ways and suggestions to the diversification of China’s national conditions,and encourage social forces to participate into public services and social rehabilitation in the area of mental health to enhance our elderly mental illness and the treatment of disorders of the pension agency service levels,and ultimately to achieve the reform of Chinese public mental health service system.
