| ObjectivesFrom the experience of the ancient doctor dialectical medication,definite effect was gained from the compound Chinese medicine prescriptions which are always include glabrous greenbrier rhizome.In order to observe clinical curative effect of the glabrous greenbrier rhizome for the damp-heat obstruction syndrome of acute gouty arthritis,we plan to give oral medication of glabrous greenbrier rhizome for the patients,and then compare and analyze the changes of VAS score,WBC,ESR,CRP,BUA before and after the treatment.MethodsSelecting the 80 cases patients with the damp-heat obstruction syndrome of acute gouty arthritis from the Third affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM during February 2016 to February 2017.These cases were randomly divided into two groups.40 cases in the treatment group was treated with etoricoxib Tablets 60mg once per day for oral administration together with glabrous greenbrier rhizome once per day for oral administration use during 1 week of treatment course,while the control group was orally treated with etoricoxib Tablets 60mg once per day for oral administration.Compare and analyze the changes of VAS score,WBC,ESR,CRP,BUA before and after treatment in each group.Results1.There were no significant differences before treatment between the two groups on VAS score,WBC,ESR,CRP,BUA.(P>0.05)2.After the treatment,both the treatment group and the control group could significantly reduce the VAS score,ESR,CRP,BUA level,(P<0.05).However,the BUA and the other index of the treatment group go down more obvious than that of the control group.The changes were significant differences(P<0.05).ConclusionGlabrous greenbrier rhizome together with Etoricoxib Tablets' treatment for the damp-heat obstruction syndrome of acute gouty arthritis can gain a good effect in clinical practice.They can not only significantly relieve the joint pain,but also significantly reduce the laboratory index,especially on the BUA. |
