The Study Of Jin' S Three-needle For Sleep Disorder In Children With Cerebral Palsy Of Liver And Kidney Deficiency

ObjectiveBased on literature research and clinical practice,the study was conducted to determine the efficacy of "Jin' s Three-needle" for sleep disorder in children with cerebral palsy of Liver and Kidney deficiency.And it aimed to explore the clinical advantage and therapeutic mechanism.MethodsAccording to inclusive and exclusive criteria,60 cerebral palsy children of Liver and Kidney deficency with sleep disorder were enrolled and randomly assigned to two groups,30 in each group.All the treatments consisted of 2 courses,each course for 20 sessions,and were administered over total 8 weeks(5 sessions each week,weekends excluded).We retained the needle for 60 minutes each session without any manipulation.In the control group,participants received acupuncture at acupoints such as:Baihui(DU20),Fengfu(DU16),Sishencong(EX-HN1),Zusanli(ST36),Xuanzhong(GB39),Yintang(DU29),Ganshu(BL18),Shenshu(BL23),Shenmai(BL62),Zhaohai(KI6),while in the treatment group:mind 4-needle points,temporal 3-needle points,brain 3-needle points,intelligent 3-needle points,Ganshu(BL18),Shenshu(BL23),Shenmai(BL62),Zhaohai(KI6).The CSHQ score were evaluated pre-intervention and after course 1 and 2 in both groups.We analyed the change from baseline in CSHQ score in week 12 with spss22.0 staistical package.Results1.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference of age,sex and CSHQ scores between both groups(P>0.05),comparably.2.The assessment of CSHQ score for sleep disorder in children with cerebral palsy of Liver and Kidney deficiency:(1)After course 1 and 2,the tatal effective rate in the treatment group were both significantly higher(P<0.05),which shows obviously better therapeutic effect in treatment group.Also,clinical symptoms were remarkably promoted with Jin' s Three—needle,better than control group(P<0.05).(2)In the treatment group,Jin' s Three-needle can greatly enhance the usual amount of sleep,bedtime,sleep habit,waking during night,sleep behavior,morning waking,daytime sleepiness and total points in CSHQ(P<0.05).Moreover,the more session of the treatment,the better of the efficacy.(3)In the control group,after course 1,the usual amount of sleep,bedtime,sleep habit,waking during night,total points of CSHQ can be statiscally improved(P<0.05)while sleep behavior,morning waking,daytime sleepiness can not(P>0.05).However,after course 2,morning waking can be improved(P<0.05),showing that without Jin' s Three-needle,sleep behavior or daytime sleepiness could hardly be improved even after 2 courses.3.The relationship between efficacy and course:the total effective rate of both groups in course 2 were obviously higher than course 1(P<0.05),which shows superiority in 2-courses treatment efficacy.Conclusion1?Jin's Three-needle has better efficacy for sleep disorder in children with cerebral palsy of Liver and Kidney deficiency.And there' s no reported adverse reaction.2?2-courses treatment shows superiority in treating sleep disorder.3?Jin's Three-needle can enhance the quality of sleep of children with cerebral palsy.The efficacy is definitly proved and worth spreading.Additional study is warrented to evaluate a longer-term treatment and follow-up.
