Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Idiopathic Facial Palsy In The Recovery Period By Filiform Needle Combined With Press-Needle

Objective:To observe the treatment of Idiopathic Facial Palsy in the recovery period by Filiform Needle Combined with Press-needle,whether Filiform Needle Combined with Press-needle can better treat Idiopathic Facial Palsy in the Recovery Period by promoting facial nerve function's recovery and reducing the occurrence of sequela,and then to promote patients' mental state,at last,patients can return to normal life and work as soon as possible.Methods:The subjects were 90 patients who were in recovery period of idiopathic facial palsy,they were selected from patients who visited the Department of the Acupuncture(Hua Yuan Shan)of Hubei hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August,2018 to October,2019.The random number table was used to randomize the included cases according to the order of visit,they were divided into 3 teams(Filiform needle group,Press-needle group,Filiform needle group plus Press-needle group),each group had 30 patients,all of 90 patients completed the study.Each of 90 patients took a medical examination including blood analysis,liver and kidney function,blood glucose,blood lipid,electrocardiogram,brain CT before they were incorporated,the research went on with all indices were normal or delayed until they became normal.Patients in the Filiform needle group were treated by Filiform needle,Patients in the Press-needle group were treated by Press-needle,Patients in the Filiform needle plus Press-needle group were treated by Filiform needle before Press-needle,they were treated once each day,there was a rest after 6 days' treatment,totally 4 weeks.Doctors analyzed patients' scores of FDI(FDIP and FDIS),H-B and Facial Nerve Function before were treated?after 2 weeks' treatment and 4 weeks' treatment,and then assessed the efficacy.The data were analyzed by statistical software of SPSS24.00.Results:1.baseline data's comparation between 3 groups: There were no statistical differences between the 3 group in gender,age,course of disease,TCM Syndrome differentiation,scores of FDI(FDIP and FDIS),H-B classification function and Facial Nerve Function(P>0.05)which showed the comparability between 3 groups.2.Intra-group comparation of 3 groups:(1)Comparation with before treatment,scores of 3 groups' FDIP improved after 2 weeks' and 4 weeks' treatment,but FDIS reduced,there were statistical significance(P<0.01);(2)Comparation with before treatment,H-B classification function of 3 groups improved after 2 weeks' and 4 weeks' treatment,there were statistical significance(P <0.05);(3)Comparation with before treatment,scores of 3 groups' Facial Nerve Function improved after 2 weeks' and 4 weeks' treatment,there were statistical significance(P<0.05).3.Comparation between 3 groups:(1)Comparation between Filiform needle group and Press-needle group,there were no statistical differences in the scores of FDI(FDIP and FDIS),H-B classification function and Facial Nerve Function after 2 weeks' and 4 weeks' treatment(P>0.05),(2)Comparation between Filiform needle group plus Press-needle group and Comparation between Filiform needle group,Press-needle group,after 2 weeks' and 4 weeks' treatment,1)scores of FDIP improved but FDIS reduced there were statistical significance(P < 0.01);2)H-B classification function improved,there were statistical significance(P <0.05);3)scores of Facial Nerve Function improved,there were statistical significance(P<0.05).4.Clinical efficiency's Comparation between 3 groups:(1)Comparation between Filiform needle group and Press-needle group,after two weeks' treatment,the cure rate of Filiform needle group is 6.67%,effective rate is 66.67%;the cure rate of Press-needle group is 3.33%,effective rate is 63.33%,after four weeks' treatment,the cure rate of Filiform needle group is 13.33%,effective rate is 76.66%;the cure rate of Press-needle group is 6.66%,effective rate is 70%.there were no statistical differences(P > 0.05).(2)Comparation between Filiform needle plus Press-needle group and Filiform needle group,after two weeks' treatment,the cure rate of Filiform needle plus Press-needle group is 26.67%,effective rate is 90%;after four weeks' treatment,the cure rate of Filiform needle plus Press-needle group is 50%,effective rate is 100%.there were statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Filiform needle,Press-needle and Filiform needle plus Press-needle all improved the facial nerve function of Facial Palsy in the Recovery Period and reduced the occurrence of sequela,and then promoted patients' mental state,but Filiform needle plus Press-needle did better,so,when we treat patients who get Facial Palsy,we can take Filiform needle plus Press-needle into consideration in order to improve the facial nerve function,reduce the occurrence of sequela and promote patients' mental state,at last,get the patients back to normal life and work as soon as possible.
