Clinical Observation On The Curative Effect Of Tufuling Formula In The Treatment Of Infantile Pneumonia Convalescence

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of Tufuling Formula in the treatment of infantile pneumonia convalescence,broaden the way of treatment in the infantile pneumonia during the recovery period,to provide an economical and effective treatment for the future.MethodsIn this observation,totally 45 cases were recruited from the in-patient/out-patient department of Pediatrics,the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine,which were conformed by the diagnostic standards on infantile pneumonia convalescence.They were divided into Tufuling group?Yupingfeng group and the blank group according to the willing of the legal guardian,15 cases in each group.The blank group was given daily nursing orders,while the Tufuling group and the Yupingfeng group were separately given Tufuling formula and Yupingfeng granules on the bisis of daily nursing orders.All the three groups were given 7 days treatment.All children' s cough,phlegm,lung auscultation,sweating,appetite etc and the times of infectious diseases in the 1-month follow-up were recorded and graded before and after the treatment.ResultsAll 45 cases were included in the results.All the three groups had no sinifificant difference(P>0.05)in age,gender and symptom scores before the treatment.After the treatment,all groups had remarkable curative effect on improving symptoms(P<0.05).And the Tufuling group was superior than the other two groups(P<0.05).The marked effective rate of Tufuling group was 93.03%,which was much higher than the Yupingfeng group(40.00%)and the blank group(20.00%),and the differences had statistical signigicance(P<0.05).Statistical difference was found betweent the Tufuling group and the other two groups in reducing the times of infectious diseases according to the 1-month follow-up(P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical efficacy of the Tufuling formula on improvement of symptoms and signs of infantile pneumonia convalescence and reducing the times of infectious diseases in 1-month follow-up is reliable.And it is worth for future study and clinical promotion.
