Objectives:According to the 7 days' effect of mild-warm moxibustion combined with medication in the treatment of acute cervical vertigo,we expect to observe the effect of clinical on symptom and function, balance ability and anxiety in these patients. And to explore an economical, effective and facile method to treat the patients with acute stage cervical vertigo.Methods:60 objects were recruited according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were randomly divided into intervention group and control group of 30 cases, using the statistics software named SPSS20.0.The control group was treated with conventional oral drug Betahistine Mesilate Tablets,1 tablets each time,3 times a day, continuous useing 7 days;In the intervention group on the basis of the control group taking mild-warm moxibustion treatment,1 times a day, every 20 minutes of moxibustion, continuous moxibustion for 7 days.Respectively before treatment,30 minutes after the first treatment and after 7 days of treatment observation of changes in the values of the two groups patients with Evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo(ESCV)and the Pro-kin balance value(including open eyes trajectory circumference, open eyes trajectory area, close eyes trajectory circumference and close eyes trajectory area).Respectively observing before treatment and after 7 days of treatment observation of changes in the values of the two groups patients with Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),and evaluating the clinical effect of mild moxibustion Zhenjing point with acute stage cervical vertigo.Results:1.Baseline comparisonThere was no statistically difference significant in the age, gender, duration data between groups before intervention(P>0.05),there exist comparability accounting for the two groups of subjects in the general information. Before the treatment of two groups of participants with Evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo(ESCV),the Pro-kin balance value(including opening eyes trajectory circumference, opening eyes trajectory area, closing eyes trajectory circumference and closing eyes trajectory area)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)comparison between groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),existing comparability.2.Evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo(ESCV)After the first treatment, the ESCV score(including dizziness, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, daily life and work, psychological and social adaptation)showed significant improvement for participants in intervention group(P<0.05).And in control group, the ESCV score also showed significant improvement before treatment except headaches, daily life and work(P<0.05).However,the difference between intervention group and control group showed no statistically significant(P>0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the ESCV score(including dizziness, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, daily life and work, psychological and social adaptation)showed significant improvement for participants in two groups before the treatment and after the first treatment(P<0.05).Moreover,the improvement of ESCV score, dizziness, headaches, and psychological and social adaptation for intervention group were better than control group after 7 days of treatment and there was significant difference between intervention group and control group(P<0.05).3.Pro-kin balance valueAfter the first treatment, the Pro-kin balance value(including opening eyes trajectory circumference, opening eyes trajectory area, closing eyes trajectory circumference and closing eyes trajectory area)showed significant reduction of the participants in intervention group(P<0.01).And in control group, the Pro-kin balance value showed no significant statistic before the treatment(P>0.05).However,the difference between intervention group and control group showed no ignificant statistic(P>0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the Pro-kin balance value(including opening eyes trajectory circumference, opening eyes trajectory area, closing eyes trajectory circumference and closing eyes trajectory area)showed significant reduction for participants in intervention group before the treatment and 30 minutes after the first treatment(P<0.05).And in control group, the Pro-kin balance value also showed significant reduction before treatment except closing eyes trajectory circumferenceand and closing eyes trajectory area(P<0.05).Moreover,the significant reduction of opening eyes trajectory circumference, opening eyes trajectory area, closing eyes trajectory circumference and closing eyes trajectory area for intervention group were better than control group after 7 days of treatment.Furthermore, there was significant difference between intervention group and control group(P<0.05).4.Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)After 7 days of treatment,SAS score showed the patients in the two groups comparing with the before before has been reduced with significant difference(P<0.01).Moreover,the reduction of the SAS for intervention group were better than control group after the 7 days treatment.Furthermore, there was significant difference between intervention group and control group(P<0.05).5.Clinical effects comparisonAfter 7 days of treatment, the intervention group:4 have been cured,17 had notable curative effect,8 have been efficient,1 has been being in vain, and the total effective rate is 96.67%;And for the control group:1 have been cured,9 had notable curative effect,16 have been efficient,4 have been being in vain, and the total effective rate is 86.67%.By statistical analysis of the 2 groups, there exists statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Mild-warm moxibustion combined with medication can improve patiens with the acute stage of cervical vertigo symptoms of dizziness, headaches and psychological and social adaptation function.2.Mild-warm moxibustion combined with medication can improve the balance ability of patients with cervical vertigo.3.Mild-warm moxibustion combined with medication can improve and alleviate the anxiety of patients with cervical vertigo.
