Observation On The Treatment Of Slow Transit Constipation With Traditional Chiniese Medicine Umbilical Therapy And Gastrointestinal Pacing Therapy

Objective In order to explore the new way of Non-oral drugs for the treatment of slow transit constipation(STC),we studied the effect of traditional Chinese umbilical therapy combined with gastrointestinal pacing on STC.Methods Selected 60 cases of anorectal outpatients and inpatients diagnosed as STC at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of TCM from March 2016 to December2016.Randomly divided into umbilical therapy group and combined treatment group,umbilical therapy group received umbilical treatment,meanwhile combined treatment group added surface gastrointestinal pacing treatment.Seven days for a course,four courses of treatment.Observed the change of the symptom scores;the quality of life score;the serum SP and SS concretation,etc.Results After four courses of treatment,symptom scores of two groups were decreased.The umbilical group has better effect than the combined treatment group in feces matter and the combined treatment group has better effect in decreasing the pain of defecation;defecation imcompletely and difficultly.The combined treatment group improvement rate is better than that of umbilical therapy group(p<0.05).After treatment the PAC-QOL score of two groups were improved significantly(p<0.01),but there are still differences with the normal group(p<0.05).The improvement of four factors of two groups were significant(p<0.05),meanwhile the combined treatment group had more significantly effect in the improvement of social psychological factor and anxiety factor(p<0.01).The combined treatment group in improving the social psychological factor,satisfaction factor scores were significantly higher than the umbilical therapy group(p<0.01).The concentration of serum SS of two groups were lower than before(p<0.05),and the combined treatment group is lower than that of umbilical therapy group(p<0.05).The concentration of serum SP of two groups were higher than before(p<0.05),and the combined treatment group is lower than that of umbilical therapy group(p<0.05).Four cases of umbilical therapy group were cured,the cure rate was 13.3%;19 cases were improved,7 cases ineffective,the efficiency is 76.7%;12 cases of combined treatment group were cured,the cure rate was 40%;15 cases were improved,3 cases ineffective,the effective rate was 90%.The combined treatment group was superior to the umbilical therapy group,after inspection the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of umbilical therapy combined with gastrointestinal pacing in the treatment of slow transit constipation is accurate,and it has a certain effect in improving the symptoms and quality of life.Curative effect of combined treatment is better than only umbilical therapy.In this study,the treatments may play a role by adjusting the level of Somatostatin and Substance P.
