In recent decades,with the support and encouragement of relevant policies,private hospit als have sprung up with strong momentum of development and adequate development space.However,although the national and local support for private hospitals increased year by year,relative to public hospitals of huge government investment,long history and obvious policy ad vantages,private hospital still makes progress with extreme difficulty.Compared with the basi c driving force of long-term development of public hospitals,it is not difficult to see that we ak point of private hospital development is lacking core competence.Enterprises competition is actually the competition of the core competence of enterprise.The core competence of private hospitals includes core concept,core technology,core talent,c ore services and core culture and other factors,which are not only the guarantee for the enter prise to obtain obvious competitive advantage in the industry or field,but also an important means for enterprises to develop new fields and gain new profit growth point.For a long time,S hospital,like most of China's private hospitals,attaches great importa nce to the effect of advertising and celebrity.The hospital did not comprehensively and syste matically analyze its core competence all along,and it did have a clear understanding of its a dvantages and disadvantages,which made it difficult to improve the overall level of medical t reatment,and led to the lack of follow-up development.A lot of private hospitals in Beijing are faced with the problems and are urgently needed to change.This paper chose the core competence of private hospitals as a starting point.mainly expla ined the research background and significance;the second part mainly expounded related theor y and concepts,summarized research results of domestic and foreign private hospitals in enha ncing the core competence through literature review,and summed up the advanced experience of foreign countries for us;the third part summarized the development history,the status quo and local characteristics of private hospitals in our country especially in Beijing through releva nt statistical data;the fourth part summed up the core competence of S hospital in Beijing thr ough SWOT analysis,which sorted out a clear train of though to solve the problems;the fift h part mainly combed and analyzed the above-mentioned content and put forward a feasible s olution to the problems of private hospitals in Beijing according to the actual working situatio n;and finally,this paper made a summary and looked forward to the future work.Through this research we can see,the private hospital managers must be able to correctly understand the hospital's advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats.In this paper,th e author suggests that private hospitals should make use of two channels,that is,taking stopg ap measures externally and taking radical measures internally.External operation mainly includ es making use of policy environment,seeking government support and actively participating in the construction of medical research system in private hospitals,and developing deep coopera tion with public hospitals.The internal operation should firstly make clear of enterprise develo pment strategy and marketing direction,and enhance the core competence by means of strengt hening technological innovation,information innovation,service innovation,cultural innovation,etc.Health industry is a sunrise industry,and private hospitals are the new rising force of Ch ina's diversified medical services.Only by constantly improving their core competence,"taking stopgap and radical measures",can the mutual promotion,jointly improvement of power of g overnmental and social medical service be achieved,and can the overall progress of the medi cal industry be realized.
