The Influence Factors Analysis Of Type 2 Diabetes Elderly Patients With Thyroid Nodule

Objective: Purpose to explore the prevalence and influence factors of type 2 diabetes elderly patients whose age were more than 60 years old with thyroid nodule.Methods: Method of selecting 202 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes,among them,91 patients with thyroid nodule(thyroid nodulegroup),111 patients with non-thyroid nodule(control group),collecting the data of the patients' case history,body mass index(BMI),fasting blood-glucose(FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),triglyceride(TG),cholesterol(T C),highdensity lipoprotein(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),thyroid hormone levels for statistical analysis.Result: Comparing to the age,gender,BMI,T C and Hb A1 c,Thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH),thyroid peroxidase antibody(T POAb),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),comparing to the course of disease,pulse pressure,systolic pressure,abdominal perimeter,smoking history,HDL,TG,FBG,2h PBG between thyroid nodule group and non-thyroid nodule group,the difference was without statistically significant(P>0.05).By using multivariable logistic regression analysis,it showed that the age,gender,TC,HbA1 c and BMI were the influence factors to occur the thyroid nodule.Conclusion: There were important clinical significance for diabetes patients who was elderly women.obesity,high cholesterol doing related thyroid nodule imaging examination.
