| Objective : By comparing the clinical characteristics,TCM constitution distribution characteristics and correlation analysis of middle-aged and elderly patients with T2 DM with different BMI,the linear regression model of some clinical indexes of middle-aged and elderly patients with T2 DM was established based on BMI,which provided ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of overweight / obesity middle-aged and elderly patients with T2 DM.Methods : A total of 159 middle-aged and elderly T2 DM patients hospitalized in the Endocrinology Department of Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected and divided into overweight /obesity T2 DM group(OT group)of 95 cases and normal BMI T2 DM group(NT group)of 64 cases according to BMI.The general information and TCM constitution types of patients were collected by questionnaire survey,and the relevant laboratory indexes were recorded.Excel was used to establish the database,and SPSS25.0software was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results :(1)The duration of T2 DM in OT group was shorter than that in NT group(P < 0.05);The number of other nationalities in OT group was significantly higher than that in NT group(P < 0.05).The incidence of fatty liver in OT group was higher than that in NT group,and the incidence of insomnia was lower than that in NT group(P <0.05).(2)The TC,TG,LDL-C,UA,FINS,Ty G Index,and HOMA-IR in OT group were significantly higher than those in NT group.HDL-C was significantly lower than that in NT group(P < 0.05).(3)BMI was positively correlated with Hb A1 c,FINS,TC,TG,LDL-C,Ty G Index,HOMA-IR and UA,and negatively correlated with HDL-C(P < 0.05).(4)There were significant differences in the distribution of TCM physique types between OT group and NT group(P<0.05).In NT group,the main TCM constitution types were qi deficiency(23.2 %),phlegm dampness(22.1 %),yin deficiency(14.7 %),blood stasis(14.7 %)and yang deficiency(10.5 %).In NT group,the main TCM constitution types were yin-yin deficiency(32.8 %),qi deficiency(20.3 %),blood stasis(18.8 %)and yang deficiency(14.1 %).(5)The TCM constitution types of overweight / obese elderly T2 DM patients were correlated with gender,age and drinking history(P < 0.05).Conclusions:(1)The occurrence of T2 DM in overweight / obese middle-aged and elderly people is closely related to the course and ethnicity of T2 DM.They are Easy to combine fatty liver,more difficult to control blood lipids,blood uric acid,and IR is higher.(2)In middle-aged and elderly T2 DM patients,with the increase of BMI,Hb A1 c,FINS,TC,TG,LDL-C,Ty G Index,HOMA-IR and UA increased,while HDL-C decreased.(3)The TCM constitutions of overweight / obese middle-aged and elderly T2 DM patients are mainly mixed constitution and biased constitution,and the main constitutions are qi deficiency,phlegm dampness,yin deficiency,blood stasis and yang deficiency.Different physical types are related to gender,age and drinking history. |
