OCT Observation And Related Factors Analysis Of Macular Effusion After Scleral Buckling Surgery Of Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment

Objective:To observe macular effusion of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment patients afterscleral buckling surgery by OCT examination and analysis the related factors.Methods:Choose the patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment who came to our hospital for treatment from August 2015 to December 2016,a total of 40 cases(40eyes)in all.The patients were treated by taking the sclera buckling surgery,and the postoperative retina reattached successfully?Then they were took the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and were assessed by optical coherence tomography(OCT)half a month,1,3 and 6months after the surgery.According to the fluid absorption and the length of time,The subjects were divided into four groups :if there is no effusion in macular area half month after the surgery,we call No Effusion Group;if there is no effusion in macular area one month after the surgery,we call One Month Group;if there is no effusion in macular area three months after the surgery,we call Three Months Group;if there is no effusion in macular area six months after the surgery,we call Six Months Group.Then,I analyzed the statistic data.Results:There are 19 eyes without effusion in macular area half month after the surgery(No Effusion Group),it's 47.5%;and 21 eyes with effusion,it's 52.5%;10eyes are in One Month Group;6eyes are in Three Months Group;5 eyes are in Six Months Group.The mean log MAR acuity of the patients is 1.29±0.72 before the surgery,and after the surgery,the mean log MAR acuity of each group is 0.31±0.23?0.35±0.26?0.55±0.39?0.71±0.34?According to Single factor analysis of variance,the eyesight of every group is better and the differences have the statistical significance(P < 0.05)?The comparation between the visual acuity of No effusion Group and One Month Group has no statistical significance(P>0.05),.The comparation between the visual acuity of One Month Group and Three Months Group has statistical significance(P<0.05),The comparation between the visual acuity of Three Months Group and Six Months Group has statistical significance(P<0.05).The proportion of the best corrected log MAR vision was improved more than 2 rows in each group were 84.2%?80.0%?66.7%?60.0%?But the comparation between the visual acuity of the four groups has no statistical significance(P=0.552).According to statistical analysis of the OCT scanning data of each group,scope of retinal detachment and retinal detachment time make differences to the absorption of the effusion in the macular area.(rs=0.544,P<0.001?rs=0.716,P<0.001)?Conclusion:OCT can clearly show the retina structure,and subretina fluid,It is the indispensable Imaging examination method to evaluate Retinal morphology and subretina fluid after scleral buckling surgery of RRD,it can provide the important information to find diseases and diagnosis and treat diseases in the first time.The scope of retinal detachment and retinal detachment make differences to the absorption of the effusion in the macular area,at the same time,the time of absorbing effusion can make a difference to the vision recovery of the patients,the more time of absorbing effusion,the more harmful to the vision.
