ObjectiveIn this article,whether the acute gastrointestinal side effects of c hemotherapy can be improved better by acupuncture combined 5-HT receptor antagonist was explored,By observing the breast cancer patients degree of nausea and vomiting,gastrointestinal symptoms of traditional Chinese me dicine,the changes of motilin levels after chemotherapy in 12h,24h to ev aluate the therapeutic effects of acute gastrointestional reaction ossoci ated with breast cancer by acupuncture combined 5-HT receptor antagonist VS only the 5-HT receptor antagonist,to explore whether the acute gastroi ntestinal side effects of chemotherapy can be improved better by acupunct ure combined 5-HT receptor antagonist.MethodsRandomized controlled trial was adopted.Forty-six Breast cancer patients who accept EC-contained chemotherapeutics were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group fall off three patients.Twenty patients of the treatment group were treated by acupuncture combined 5-HT receptor antagonist.Twenty patients of the control group were treated by only the 5-HT receptor antagonist.Curative effect and assessment method:Evaluat the effection on gastrointestinal tract after breast cancer chemotherapy by acupuncture combined 5-HT receptor antagonist comprehensively.The degree of nausea and vomiting,scores of gastrointestinal symptom and changes of the level of motilin are evaluated after two group of chemotherapy.The safety of the treatment is evaluated the patients' tolerance of Acupuncture associated pain,Serious situation and whether fall in faint because of acupuncture.Results(1)Nausing:the dgree of nausea was different betweem treatment group and control group,with statistical significant(p<0.05);24 h after chemotherapy,the dgree of nausea of treatment group was lihter than those of control group,the proportion of 0 degrees nausea in the treatment group was 55%,higher than the control group(30%).the difference was statistically significant by statistical analysis(p<0.05).(2)Vomiting:the dgree of vomiting was different betweem treatment group and control group,with statistical significant(p<0.05);24 h after chemotherapy,the dgree of vomit of treatment group was lihter than those of control group,the proportion of 0 degrees vomit in the treatment group was 80%,higher than the control group(70%).the difference was statistically significant by statistical analysis(p<0.05).(3)Gastrointestinal diseases in TCM(traditional Chinese medical)symptoms:12 h after chemotherapy,integral of gastrointestinal diseases of TCM symptom,the treatment group was56.889 ±13.438 points,the control group was49.167±8.644points,compared two groups,control group is lower than the treatment group,but there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);24 h after chemotherapy,the treatment group was 24.667±10.205 points,the control group was 39.111 ± 11.054 points,compared two groups,control group is higher than the treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Differential value of Each gastrointestinal diseases of TCM in treatment group and control group symptom were compared,with statistical significant(p<0.05),especially fullness in the stomach,both of rib and stomach pain;the lower abdmen pain;loss of appetite and vomiting;abdominal distension after eating,early enough,thirsty to drink not trapped,body weight,thin sloppy stool,constipation,irritable this 11 symptom.(4)Changes of the level of plasma motilin:there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05)Before and after acupuncture 24h.Conclusion1.The degree of acute nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy can be reduced by acupuncture.2.Gastrointestinal diseases of traditional Chinese medicine during chemotherapy can be improved by acupuncture.especially fullness in the stomach,both of rib and stomach pain;the lower abdmen pain;loss of appetite and vomiting;abdominal distension after eating,early enough,thirsty to drink not trapped,body weight,thin sloppy stool,constipation,irritable this 11 symptom.3.The acupuncture impact on motilin levels turn out to be small.
