Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with drug onrecovery of gastrointestinal function of damp-heat in the abdomen after surgery,and toexplore effective methods of acupuncture combined with drug to treat gastrointestinaldisorders after damp-heat pattern abdominal surgery. Methods:65patients of damp-heatpattern after abdominal surgery in accordance with the principle of randomized controlledwere divided into34cases of control group and31cases of treatment group. The controlgroup was given oral formula,twice a day,for7days totally; treatment group on this basis,receive acupuncture treatment in the morning of the second day after surgery, once a day,for7days totally also, evaluate the efficacy of the two groups at7days after surgery.Compare the two groups of patients with recovery of gastrointestinal function of time aftersurgery, the common clinical symptom score changes, the efficacy results, the VAS painscore scale (VAS) and peripheral white blood cells before and after treatment. The result:(1) treatment group, the first bowel sound and the first exhaust defecation time than thecontrol group was significantly shorter, the difference between the groups was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).(2) The analgesic effect of the treatment group was better than thecontrol group, significant differences between the groups (P<0.05).(3) treatment group inimproving anorexia, abdominal distention, abdominal pain, defecation difficulties inclinical symptoms was better than the control group, the difference between the groupswas statistically significant (P<0.05).(4) Control group, the total effective rate was66.7%total effective rate of80%was statistically significant (P<0.05).(5) treatment group after5days in peripheral blood neutrophils compared with control group decreased, the treatment group after5days in peripheral blood lymphocytes than in the control groupincreased, the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P≦0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment can shorten the patients after discharge, bowelmovement time, the oral combination of traditional Chinese medicine also has analgesicand improve clinical symptoms and other effects, and postoperative peripheral white bloodcell changes in bidirectional positive regulatory role.
