The Study On The Therapeutic Of Balance Acupuncture To Cervival Spondylosis

Objective:Balance acupuncture is based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine combined with medical micro perspective.This research aimed to investigating the clinical efficacy of cervical spondylopathy by using balance acupuncture,compared with ordinary acupuncture therapy,finding a new way for Cervical spondylopathy treatment.Methods:This was a clinical trial that was performed on 60 patients.Patients were candidates from the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of TCM patients and guangzhou university of TCM students.According to the principle of random,patients were equally divided into experimental group and control group,experimental group treated with balance acupuncture,found the neck pain acupiont and stuck the needle into skin quickly with less angle,lifting the needle in minor up and down until strong acid bilges feeling appears and send to elbow.During the time,participants were allowed to turning neck to each direction.Control group with ordinary acupuncture,reference to the published the acupuncture therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in China,take tianzhu on both sides,and pain point etc,retaining needle in 30 minutes after acupoints that stuck into needle got acid bilges feeling.Two groups were treated once every 2 day with 2 weeks.Evaluation of treatment according to cervical dysfunction index(NDI),visual analog scale(VAS)and clinical assessment scale for cervical spondylosis(CASCS).The effect assessment of acupuncture on cervical spondylopathy refered to standards on diagnosis and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine.Data were analyzed using SPSS software,the T-test and rank test.Results:The Neek Disability Index(NDI):There were significant statistical differences between patients before treatment and finish treatment of patients in experimental group,which patients treated with balance acupuncture.The outcomes of control group,treated with ordinary acupuncture,also proved significant statistical difference between patients before treatment and finish treatment.The scores tested after treatment course of NDI in two groups,which were the short-term treatment effect,showed no statistical difference between balance acupuncture group and ordinary acupuncture group.The visual analog scale(VAS)scores.VAS scores of patients in two groups were tested at three points,which were before treatment,after the first treatment and finish treatment.There were significant statistical differences at after first treatment and finish treatment compared with before treatment of patients in experimental group,which patients treated with balance acupuncture.The outcomes of control group,treated with ordinary acupuncture,also proved significant statistical differences after first treatment and finish treatment compared with before treatment.The scores of after first treatment revealed that patients treated with balance acupuncture had supervior effect over patients treated up with 3 patients were cured and 1 patient invalid.2 patients were cured and 1 patient invalid in ordinary acupuncture group.There was no statistical difference between two groups.Conclusion:Both balance acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture had positive treatment effect to cervical spondylopathy,on improving cervical dysfunction,relieving pain and reducing neck symptoms and signs.The experiment results revealed that balance acupuncture treatment had advantage on instant treatment over ordinary acupuncture,which relieved pain and reduced neck symptoms and signs faster and better.Whereas,in terms of short-term curative effect,data showed no difference between the balance acupuncture treatment and ordinary acupuncture treatment comfirmed by statistic analysis.The assessment of treatment told us there was no statistically significant difference between two groups either,and using balance acupuncture with less acupuncture point,shorter treatment time,operating more simple,easier to be accepted,would be a better choice.
