Clinical Observation Of Tubi Ningtong Decoction Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis Of Damp-heat Accumulation Type

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects and safely of Tubi Ningtong decoction in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis of damp-heat accumulation type,in order to promote clinical application of Tubi Ningtong decoction in the disease.MethodsAccording to inclusion standards,96 patients with acute gout arthritis of damp-heat accumulation type were selected into two groups by means of random number table.Each group included 48 cases.The control group was given Etoricoxib Tablets 120mg orally every time and basic treatment,1 time a day.The treatment group was given Tubi Ningtong decoction twice a day and basic treatment.The observing period was 7 days.The improving degree of the patient's symptoms and signs and the changes of the laboratory indicators was observed and recorded before and after the treatment.All of the data wan statistically analyzed by SPSS22.0.Results(1)Comprehensive efficacy evaluation:14 recovery cases,26 significant efficacy cases,5 reasonable efficacy cases and 2 non-effective cases were obtained from all 47 subjects in treatment group,with a total effective rate of 95.7%;.2 recovery cases,29 significant efficacy cases,11 reasonable efficacy cases and 4 non-effective cases were obtained from all 46 subjects in all 46 subjects in control group,with a total effective rate of 91.37%.The curative effect in treatment group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.01).(2)Symptoms and signs alleviation condition:The scores of joint painfulness,joint tenderness,joint swelling,joint activity limits,symptoms and signs were effectively alleviated by both therapeutic treatments(P<0.01);The treatment group had superior curative effect on improving joint swelling,joint activity limits and scores of symptoms and signs(P<0.05).(3)Laboratory indicators changes:The ESR and CRP levels were lowered after treatment in each group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the curative effects of two groups(P>0.05).The BUA level was reduced remarkably in treatment group(P<0.01),but no decrease was found in control group(P>0.05).(4)Remission time:No statistical significance was obtained between two groups regarding remission time of joint painfulness(P>0.05).The treatment group had significantly reduced the remission time of joint swelling than that of control group(P<0.01).(5)Safety evaluation:the incidence of adverse reactions was 2.13%for treatment group,and a noticeably higher incidence of 15.22%for control group(P<0.05).ConclusionTubi Ningtong decoction had good curative effect on acute gout arthritis treatment,which was similar to etoricoxib in inhibiting inflammation and stopping painfulness.It had superior performance in joint swelling improvement than etoricoxib,and it was advantageous in lowering blood uric acid,reducing adverse effect and ensuring curative effects,which was worthy to be applied to clinical practices.
