Objective:To investigate the correlation between bone metabolism and the related factors of newly diagnosed young and middle aged hyperthyroidism patients in Nanning Prefecture of Guangxi with TCM Syndrome Types,and to provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of secondary bone metabolism abnormality.Methods: We chose these newly diagnosed young and middle aged hyperthyroidism patients who had lived in Nanning Prefecture more than10 years in the outpatient department of endocrinology in our hospital form the December 2015 to December 2016,and gathered statistics about their gender,age,height,weight,disease duration of 115 patients who met the inclusion criteria,and tested them 3 thyroid function,serum calcium and phosphorus,serum alkaline phosphatase,parathyroid hormone,serum25 hydroxy vitamin D,lumbar CTQ.TCM syndrome differentiation was based on the symptoms and tongue.We analyzed the association of newly diagnosed young and midddle aged hyperthyroidism patients of Nanning Prefecture of Guangxi in QCT lumbar hydroxyapatite equivalent density and gender,age,course of disease,BMI,thyroid hormone,serum alkaline phosphatase,serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D and other factors,and we aslo analyzed thecorrelation between QCT lumbar Hydroxyapatite quivalent density,thyoid hormone,parathroid hormone,serum alkaline phosphatase,serumcalcium,phosphorus and the level of serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D with TCM syndrome tape.Results:(1)In this study,we found that the prevalence rate of osteopenia in young and middle-aged patients with hyperthyroidism in Nanning Prefecture of Guangxi was about 51.30%,and the prevalence rate of osteoporosis was about 21.73%.(2)There was no correlation between the equivalent density of the lumbar vertebrae and age,BMI,course of disease of young and middle-aged patients with hyperthyroidism in Nanning Prefecture(P > 0.05).(3)There were significant positive correlation between the equivalent density of the lumbar vertebrae with serum 25 hydroxy vitamin D,TSH(P<0.01),and negative correlated with ALP,FT3,FT4 in young and middle-aged patients with hyperthyroidism in Nanning Prefecture(P <0.01).(4)The liver-fire excess syndrome,heart liver yin deficiency syndrome were more commom in osteopenia and osteoporosis of young and middle-aged patients with hyperthyroidism in Nanning Prefecture(P<0.01).Among the liver-fire excess syndrome and heart liver yin deficiency syndrome,the equivalent density of the lumbar vertebrae,serum 25 hydroxy vitamin D,TSH levels were more lower(P<0.05),FT3,FT4 and ALP levels were higher(P< 0.05).Conclusion: The bone mineral density(BMD)was not related to age,the course of hyperthyroidism and the BMI factors,was correlated with severity of hyperthyroidism,blood alkaline phosphate,serum 25 hydroxy vitamin D,and the more severe degree of the hyperthyroidism,the lower bone mineral density in newly diagnosed young and middle-aged patients in Naning Prefecture of Guangxi.(2)The liver-fire excess syndrome,heart Yin deficiency syndrome had lower bone density in newly diagnosed young and middle-aged patients in Nanning Prefecture of Guangxi,and had a higher risk incidence of osteopenia and osteoporosis,and that may be associated with more severe degree of the hyperthyroidism,higher levels of blood alkaline phosphate,and lower serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D level.
