The Clinical Observation On Therapy Of Benefiting Jiakangning In Treating Hyperthyroidism With Osteoporosis

Purpose：Observe the clinical curative effection of Chinese patent drug“Jiakangning”in treating hyperthyroidism with osteoporosis，the difference effect between Chinesemedicine and western medicine in relieving symptoms and signs is compared，and thereeffects in some laboratory data are also compared，and offering a theoretical basis for theclinical use.Methods：Sixty Patients of hyperthyroidism with osteoporosis were randomly dividedinio the treatment group and the control group，each group have30cases.All subjects werereceiving treatment at the time of the basis for treatment，the treatment group receivedJiakangning+Alfacalcidol Capsule+Caltrate+foundation treatment； The control groupreceived Alfacalcidol Capsule+Caltrate+foundation treatment.The observation lasted12weeks,observing the change of the signs and symptoms，thyroid function and antibodies（FT3，FT4，TSH，TGAb，TPOAb），heart rate，goiter，the bone mineral density of lumbar（L1一L4），the left hip and forearm，and be statistical analysis.Results：After3courses treatment this study showed that the total effective rate of thetreatment group and control group were respectively90.0%and80.0%on improvingpatients’ symptoms and signs，by the statistical test，P＝0.013<0.05，have significantdifference，total effective rate of the treatment group is better than the control group.By thestatistical test，the two groups after treatment compared with before treatment，the heartrate，the thyroid hormone and each part of bone mineral density（BMD），have highly significant difference（P<0.01）；Compared with the pre and post treatment of the controlgroup in the related antibodies of the thyroid hormone，P>0.05，has no improvement；Butthe treatment group was reduced to some extent，has highly significant difference（P<0.01）.Compared the two groups after treatment，the treatment group in term ofcontrolling the heart rate，improving the thyroid function and improving bone mineraldensity（BMD）is better than the control group.Conclusion：Reduced bone mineral density in patients with different degree，hyperthyroidism is one of its risk factors.After the treatment of the traditional Chinesemedicine has significantly inhibit thyroid hormone action，and with the improvement ofthyroid hormone，bone density increased.Using traditional Chinese medicine Jiakangningintervention in treatment of hyperthyroidism with osteoporosis has good curative effect，can reduce the potential risk of infection in patients in the treatment process.Therefore，patients with hyperthyroidism should as soon as possible to take measures to preventosteoporosis.
