Clinical Observation On Tension-type Headache By Balanced Acupuncture Treatment

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effcacy of balanced acupuncture treatment of tension-type headache.To investigate the effectiveness of balanced acupuncture therapy for tension-type headaches.To further clarify balance the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment for tension-type headache.The reasearch aims to seeks the better method of treatment,and ptimize the programme of clinical diagnosis and treatment of tension-type headache,reduced clinical patients with drug dependence and its side-effects,to provid a reliable evidence for clinical application.MethodsAll cases were chosen from Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department and Neurology Department with tension-type headache.60 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,each group of 30 cases.The treatment group was treated with balanced acupuncture therapy,and the control group was treated with drug.The treatment methods of 7 times for the one course,and with a total of 4 courses of two groups treatment.After 2 and 4 courses,by means of the visual analogue scale(VAS scale)score,and the scale include headache intensity grade(duration,headache frequency,degree,associated symptoms),comprehensive evaluation of clinical curative effect of treating tension-type headache,to compare the curative effects of two groups in the treatment of tension-type headache,and observe the artery mean blood flow velocity of the TCD of the basilar artery ring.Using the SPSS20.0 statistics software to statistical analysis of the significance of reseach.Objective to investigate the clinical effect of Balance Acupuncture on tension headache.Results1.Within group comparison:After after two courses of treatment and the end of treatment,which evaluated by VAS scores and headache index scores in the two grou-ps were decreased to some extent,and the improvement of the treatment group was significantly different(P<0.01).2.Comparison between groups:after two courses of treatment,which evaluated by VAS scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and which evaluated by the headache symptoms index,there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).3.Comparison between groups:after four courses of treatment,which evaluated by VAS scores of two groups were more obvious difference(P<0.01),and which evaluate-d by the headache symptoms index,were significantly different(P<0.01);and and wh-ich evaluated by the degree of headache intensity classification,the treatment group th-an the control group((P<0.05).4.We can see from the two groups of TCD results,no left and right difference affect the same intervention on arterial blood flow velocity((P>0.05);and the treatm-ent group improved the hemodynamics of TTH patients,the results compared with the control group,especially on the middle cerebral artery,anterior cerebral artery,bilater-al vertebral basilar artery obviously improved however,there are different degrees of improvement on the other cranial arterial blood flow velocity,two-way adjusting.Conclusion1.The balance acupuncture treatment of tension headache,can significantly reduce the patient's pain and the headache symptoms index,Its curative effect is better than medication.2.The balance acupuncture treatment can improve the cerebral artery and bilateral vertebral artery and other cerebral artery blood flow,can adjust the intracranial blood flow velocity of patients with tension headache,relieve headache symptoms and improve the quality of life.
