| Objective To observe the curative effect of reinforcing manipulation on "Da Chang" point in treating infantile spleen-deficiency diarrhea by means of Chinese medicine symptom complex score scale.Methods A total of 60 cases of children patients with spleen-deficiency diarrhea who met the standard of diagnosis, incorporation and exclusion were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. Patients in the experimental group were performed "Da Chang" point massage with reinforcing methods therapy, while patients in the control group were given oral administration of Montmorillonite Powder, the course of treatment was 5 days. The symptoms and signs of the patients before treatment and everyday after treatment were recorded with defection frequency, stool shape, abdominal distension and vomiting as the therapeutic effect indexes. The aggregate scores, the improvement of individual symptoms and the antidiarrheal time of patients in the two groups before and after treatment were compared, and the total effective rates of the two groups were comprehensively evaluated.Results 1. In the experimental group,8 cases had clinical recovery, the therapy had significant effect on 15 cases, some effect on 5 cases and no effect on 2 cases, and the effective rate was 93.3%; in the control group,4 cases had clinical recovery, the therapy had significant effect on 12 cases, some effect on 8 cases and no effect on 6 cases, and the effective rate was 80.0%; the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).2. For symptoms and signs, a significant difference was found in the curative effect on stool frequency and stool properties between the two groups(P <0.05), and the curative effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group; no significant difference was found in curative effects on abdominal distension, vomiting, mental state, thirst, diet, urine volume, complexion and redness of anus between the two groups (P> 0.05), and the curative effects of the experimental group were equivalent to that of the control group; in terms of antidiarrheal time, there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05), and the time in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group.Conclusion Da Chang point massage is effective and safe in treating infantile spleen-deficiency diarrhea, and can significantly improve the diarrhea, abdominal distension and vomiting of children patients. Especially in terms of improving the stool frequency, stool properties and antidiarrheal time, the therapy’s effective time was earlier and the curative effect was more significant compared to the control group, and had reliable clinical application and popularization value. |
