A System Review Of Clearing Away Dampness Therapy On Chronic Gastritis

Objective: In order to provide more objective and more persuasive evidence for the treatment of chronic gastritis in traditional Chinese medical therapy,we systemically evaluate the clinical curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of clearing away dampness on chronic gastritis.Methods: Relevant literature of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of clearing away dampness on chronic gastritis published from 2007 to 2016 were collected by computer and hand researching from domestic and overseas database.And a comprehensive evaluation and meta-analysis were performed using the Cochrane Collaboration Rev Man 5.2 software to study the Clinical curative effect in the total effective rate,the cure rate,the clearance rate of HP and the incidence rate of untoward reaction of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of clearing away dampness on chronic gastritis.Results:1.A total of 1658 relative articles were founded,by strict screening,49 randomized control trails ultimately included in this meta-analysis.By jadad score,four point are four(8.16%),three point are ten(20.41%),two point are two(4.08%),one point are thirty-three(67.33%).All studies are in low quality.2.A total of 49 randomized control trails can be classified into four kinds,namely,the group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(35articles,accounting for 71.43%),the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(7 articles,accounting for 14.29%),the group of qu shi shu gan therapy(4 articles,accounting for 8.16%)and the group of qu shi wen zhong therapy(3articles,accounting for 6.12%),according to the function tendency of traditional Chinese medicine.49 research literature have 49 Chinese traditional medicine prescriptions,including 35 set prescriptions and 14self-designed prescriptions.According to the statistical analysis,lianpu drink(six times)?sanren decoction(four times)?pingwei powder(four times)?huopu xialing decoction(three times)? huanglian wendan decoction(three times)are high-frequency prescriptions.In 49 research literature,49 Chinese medicine prescriptions involved 83 kinds of Chinese traditional medicine.According to the statistical analysis,houpu(thirty-seven times)?banxia(thirty-five times)?chenpi(twenty-nine times)?huanglian(twenty-nine times)?fuling(twenty-five times)are high-frequency traditional Chinese medicine.3.The meta-analysis results show:(1)The total effective rate: The group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=3.98,95%CI:2.92~5.43,P<0.00001),the group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=4.71,95% CI:3.36 ~ 6.60,P < 0.00001),the group of qu shi wen zhong(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=7.17,95%CI:2.24~21.25,P=0.0004),the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=6.40,95% CI:2.57 ~ 15.90,P < 0.00001),the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=4.65,95% CI:1.89~11.45,P=0.0008)and the group of qu shi shu gan(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=3.74,95%CI:1.96 ~ 7.11,P <0.0001)are superior to western medicine;the group of qu shi wen zhong(TCM&WM VS WM)is better than other groups.(2)The cure rate:The group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=2.43,95%CI:1.88 ~ 3.14,P < 0.00001),the group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=2.01,95%CI:1.51 ~ 2.67,P < 0.00001),the group of qu shi wen zhong(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=2.24,95%CI:1.47~4.00,P=0.0005),the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=3.24,95%CI:1.56~6.74,P=0.002),the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=2.42,95% CI:1.22~4.79,P=0.01)and the group of qu shi shu gan(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=3.11,95% CI:1.86~5.23,P<0.0001)are superior to western medicine;the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM VS WM)is better than other groups.(3)The eradication rate of HP: The group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=2.24,95%CI:1.69~2.96,P<0.00001)and the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=3.68,95%CI:1.51 ~ 8.97,P=0.004)are superior to western medicine;the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)is better than other groups.but the group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=1.36,95%CI:0.93~1.98,P=0.11)is not superior to western medicine;the group of qu shi shu gan(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=0.07,95% CI:0.02~0.27,P=0.0001)is inferior to western medicine.(4)The incidence rate of untoward reaction:The group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=0.29,95%CI:0.12~0.67,P=0.004),the group of clearing away damp-heat therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=0.31,95% CI:0.16~0.61,P=0.0007),the group of clearing away damp and invigorating spleen therapy(TCM&WM VS WM)(combined OR=0.22,95% CI:0.06~0.88,P=0.003)and the group of qu shi shu gan(TCM VS WM)(combined OR=0.04,95% CI:0.00 ~ 0.72,P=0.03)are low than western medicine;the group of qu shi shu gan(TCM VS WM)is lower than other groups.Conclusions: This system Review indicated that the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of clearing away dampness therapy on Chronic Gastritis is effective in the total effective rate,the cure rate,the clearance rate of HP and the incidence rate of untoward reaction.But because the quality included literature generally is low,this conclusion still needs more large sample,multicenter,high quality,well-designed controlled trials to further supporting.
