| Aim:To evaluate the relevant systematic reviews/meta-analyses that focused on the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for treatment of(Chronic Atrophic Gastristis(CAG).Methods:Databases including CBM,CNKI,VIP,Wan Fang Data,Cochrane Library,PubMed were searched from inception to 30th,June 2016 to collect the systematic reviews/meta-analyses that focused on the TCM for CAG.Two reviewers screened the literature according to the inclusion criteria and extracted the data.The AMSTAR was used to evaluate the quality of the included studies,and the GRADE system was used to evaluate the quality of evidence.Results:A total of 15 relevant systematic reviews and meta-analyses were included,all of which evaluated the total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of CAG.The 10 study evaluated with the improvement of gastroscopy and pathology and the 8 study evaluated the negative rate of Helicobacter pylori.AMSTAR scores were between 4 and 9 points.The results showed that TCM has advantage over conventional medicine in the treatment of CAG;however,the GRADE evidence classification is low.Conclusion:The two results showed that the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis has obvious advantages,the overall quality of systematic reviews and meta-analyses is most moderate,however,the evidence level is low.Due to the limited quantity and quality,the conclusions from above can have possible publication bias.In the use of these evidences to guide clinical decision,clinicians need to be cautious.Significance:The research explores the feasibility of the traditional Chinese medicine in evidence-based medicine through the study and practice of evidence based medicine to give a reference to the majority of scholars. |
