The Effect Of "Fuzhengbutu" Acupuncture Therapy On Subjective Mood And Neurotransmitters In The Patients With Deficiency Type Of Depression After Cerebral Infarction

Objective:To observe the effect of "Fuzhengbutu" acupuncture therapy on the degree of depression,the degree of TCM deficiency depression syndrome and the level of serum 5-HT and NE in patients with depressive disorder after cerebral infarction,and to analyze the correlation between this disease and end-points,to explore its possible mechanism of action.Methods:64 patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups according to the block randomization.The treatment group was treated with the method of "Fuzhengbutu",while the control group was treated with routine acupuncture alone.All the patients were treated with a total of 2 courses of treatment,while 1 courses of treatment including 14 days.Before and after treatment for 14 days,the patients were followed by a Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score and a TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score.Before and after 28 days of treatment,serum serotonin(5-HT)and norepinephrine(NE)were measured,all the data were analyzed by SPSS20.0 software.Results:(1)The treatment group and the control group both had improvement after treatment,in terms of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score and the levels of serum 5-HT and NE.Compared with the treatment before,there is a significant difference(P<0.01).(2)After 14 days of treatment,the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score and the TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score of the treatment group were significantly different from those of the control group(P>0.05).(3)After 28 days of treatment,the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,serum 5-HT and NE levels of the treatment group were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).(4)before treatment,HAMD score and TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score of the two group was positively correlated(P<0.05),5-HT and NE levels were also positively correlated(P<0.01),but between the two groups showed a negative correlation(P<0.05).(5)After treatment,there was no significant negative correlation between the TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score and the level of serum 5-HT in the treatment group(P>0.05).There was no significant negative correlation between the TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score and the level of NE in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)"Fuzhengbutu" acupuncture therapy can significantly reduce the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and TCM Deficiency Depression Scale score,and significantly increased in serum of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and norepinephrine(NE)levels.(2)The "Fuzhengbutu" acupuncture therapy has a positive correlation with the degree of depression and the level of NE in the patients.(3)There is no obvious adverse reaction in the treatment of "Fuzhengbutu",which is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with depression after cerebral infarction.
